Worst experience i had with uhaul. I booked uhaul at a convenient location but next day i got a call that uhaul is not available at this location on that day, we can change the pickup location. When I arrived at location. It was just a empty ground. No one was there to assist me. I called the number on booking slip. He gave me number of another person ( shoiab) maybe shabby . He said call me on whatsapp. But why? Are you doing any illegal work?? You don’t want to be recorded? He said there is a number lock . Pick the key from there to open the gate. But the key was not rotating .the lock was jammed due to cold or maybe it didn’t get maintenance from last 5 years.I called him again. He said buy a lighter from the nearest gas station and try heating the lock. Like seriously? In -18 degree celcius and wind with 40km you are asking me to try again and again. I wasted an hour in opening the gate. i called him and asked him to cancel my appointment i will book from another location . Then he started talking in a rude way and asked me to call the owner of this site. Then again I called the owner and he said i am send a boy he will reach in 40 minutes. And after waiting for more 15 minutes, he called me and said there is a chain lock, try opening from there. Are you guys serious? Why you were asking me to open the lock with key if it was supposed to open from the chain. After using i parked the uhaul at the location at 3:30 and sent the photo of meter to shoiab ( shabby) but I didn’t get any receipt. I called him again at 5:15 then he completed the process. When i see the slip i got charged extra 16$ for coverage . But I didn’t opted for any coverage . I asked him to reduce that charges but I started behaving rudely and cut my call. This is totally harassment and not acceptable. I want to ask uhaul owner or management, why you guys are adding these type of people in your company? You should take a look at customer’s reviews and take steps to improve the quality of your services

Have someone onsite in person when there is a pickup scheduled. It was confusing not knowing how to gain access to the keys to the vehicle, who to call, what to do. Also, if a customer booked a dolly, then this location should make sure they have what the customer ordered, otherwise, inform the customer in a timely manner so they can make other arrangements. I was completely inconvenience today not having the right dolly that I booked for my furniture.
Gurpreet SThis was the worst location I have seen. No body showed up on my picked up truck and I called customer service 3times and almost one hour they told me the code to open the door. The field was all covered snow no one cleaned up and finally I filled more fuel than the beginning, because at beginning the truck showed 45 miles to E fuel level low the miles can’t showed the same time I called him to got the miles show results and I returned the truck didn’t showed the fuel level low . But the guy said looked like lower than the beginning and changed fuel money. How did he lied like this, it’s absolutely I filled more because the truck didn’t show fuel level low.
Qi Lno customer service , no clear explanations for questions , very confusing non customer frendly process , had a very hard time . Vehicle was horrible and infact dangerous to drive , sterring was shacking , gears and other stuffs were so hard very poor maintenance , also my money yet to be refunded . everything i have to followup.
