Your system glitched twice; during the check-in process at the point of payment it stated that the payment method couldn't be processed due to an error on your end, I tried a second time to input my payment method and received the same response, however after checking my bank account I saw that the payment had in fact gone through. I reloaded the page and my Uhaul account said that my rental was active, however I never received the code to access my key. I spent 30 minutes both on hold and waiting for a chat response, effectively wasting 30 minutes worth of my money before I finally got a response through the chat and got my key code. Then, during the return process, your page repeatedly told me that I could not send my location because location services were turned off, however I confirmed multiple times on my device that location services were on. I was unable to proceed with the return as a result, sat on hold again for about 10 minutes before entering the garage where the Uhaul drop box is located and received help from an employee there. I am not at all pleased with my experience.

When I arrived for my reservation, the truck was still out and arrived half an hour late. When I entered the vehicle, it was dirty from the previous driver. After completing the move, I arrived at the facilities only to be rudely told by someone that he wanted me to move it across the street despite being told earlier I should park where I did and in a legal spot. When I walked into the location, the person in charge was drunk and sleeping at the desk (It was 8:30 pm). The following day, I received my invoice telling me I owed for gas despite filling it up more than enough right before dropping it off. Luckily, I anticipated this and took pictures of the gas gauge before dropping off the vehicle. After arguing with the front desk lady on the phone the next day and sending her the proof, she finally agreed to drop the gas charges but has yet to do so one week later. I will not be doing business with Uhaul again after this poor experience. I expect Uhaul to hold themselves to higher standards and keep their shops accountable.

Make sure trucks have air conditioning. I initially made reservations at another location, which closed a month ago, but I was not notified of this change, so I went to the location to find that it was closed. I had a deadline that day, so I had to pay for a cab to a new location. This wasted my time and money. It might help to tell customers if the store they made a reservation at has closed.

This was a terrible experience. It took us nearly 2 hours just to get the keys because, not only does the technology for getting UHaul keys out of a lockbox not work well (we had trouble getting past step 1 of turning on location services, which is not necessary if each car has a unique identifying number), but when we finally got the lockbox open, there were no keys at all in the lockbox! We had coordinated movers, the person from whom we were getting the furniture, and so we had to cancel all of that, because the technology took so long and the lockbox was ultimately empty. If the owner of this location does not want to put the keys in the lockbox, then he should not have signed up his shop for being able to do transactions via a lockbox. It was a huge inconvenience to us, ruined our Sunday, and a move that should have take 1 hour at most ended up taking nearly 5 hours. After all of that, UHaul then overcharged us for mileage- stating we drove 14 miles when we did not. Will never use this technology again. Highly considering not using UHaul again.

It was the most unprofessional, disturbing experience I’ve ever had. From an employee peeing outside in front us people to not having all or the right equipment... I really should be refunded at least 1/2 of what I paid. I didn’t even get my uhaul on time

The truck was not physically in the rental location, and I arrived after hours, I didn't know where the truck was at first. It wasn't clear to me from the outset that I needed to go through the steps in the app to figure out where it was (on a street nearby). Also, the app only lets you begin to close your session when you arrive at the location, but there is no where to park at this location, only on the street nearby, so perhaps consider expanding the zone where the vehicle can be parked?

Kereesha was very nice and helpful. Since there was no lot, I had to find parking on the street which was inconvenient and time consuming. It would be better if you could just drop off and have them park the vehicle. The vehicles were new and maintained but not cleaned between rentals. Other than that it was a good experience.

Great experience with N&B New Horizon Automotive, but the U-haul app and website for retrieving and returning vehicles is completely unusable and utterly shameful and in shambles.

After parking the truck in an open spot, the manager said he had no open spots and that I had to take the truck to a station down the street. They were kind enough to take the truck, though we had to park it across the street at a gas station where I had to pay the worker there for parking.

The lady who took our reservation on the phone was very rude. During the reservation the background TV was on so loud that I could hear the questions being ask on Family Fued on her end?? Then when we received the final invoice it said we went 18 miles and charged us for 1/3 of gas that we did not use. We only went 5.5 miles and filled up the tank to the level it was at when we picked it up. We tried to call and see if there was a mix up with the calculations and the same lady hung up on us when we tried to go over the incorrect bill. I can't believe a company with a name as big as UHaul would allow this type of business. Please look into this crook that you have working for your company.
