Truck was not checked, or maintained. There were 2 appliance dolly’s in the back, not accounted for. I did not ask for them, but I returned them. Had to leave a few items behind, to make room for them in the truck. The air conditioning did not work at all. Drove from Florida to Michigan 90 degrees or above with no air conditioning. U-Haul support stated because I didn’t call roadside assistance they can only minimally compensate me. I had 2 days to be back in Michigan and had no time to sit and wait for roadside assistance. This truck should have been checked and maintained BEFORE I picked it up. I will not be using U-Haul again.
