This location was understaffed. The man who helped us was very nice, but can't be in three places at once.

LOL. The truck was great. But, I registered and checked in online to "have the fastest experience" but arrived and was told that process was "nearly impossible for them to make work." So They canceled my order and then filled out another one of their own. Check in took 20 minutes, part of which is because you need to wait for the person working the counter in the liquor store to service everyone in that line before he can come over and do the processing and checking in. Then. After everything was checked in, I was told to "take a screen shot" of their computer screen so that I had a copy of the paperwork - instead of actually having paperwork... Which, ended up being a big deal because on this paperwork was the "beginning mileage" of the truck I rented. I didn't know because screen shots of computer screens are generally unreadable and I didn't know what information was even supposed to be on there... ...And when I returned the truck an hour and a half later the rental was to cost near double the estimate because the mileage had been marked wrong. I stood there patiently for 45 minutes while we resolved the issue. The "missing paperwork" that had the correct starting mileage turned up to support my case that I had only driven 20 miles, not 80. Everyone there were good people. Hard working even. They we good to me. I would send people there to get a truck, with cautions. The failures were in the production systems, software, communications, and lack of printer. So. Go here. Get a truck if its your neighborhood. Just demand a professional process.

The vehicle that I reserved was not available and was provided a much larger truck. I was also charged for the larger vehicle and will have to dispute this charge. The vehicle I reserved sat in the parking lot all day.... I was told that it was rented but saw that it did not move. Very disappointing

When a customer has a resevation for a truck, make sure that you have the truck ready. This location had a spare truck but with a flat tire for over 4 days (no good use to anyone - why didn’t someone fix this?) while the other truck was already in use by another customer, who also returned the truck late. This was an extreme inconvenience as we were about an hour late. They also could not find my order of 5 large boxes, which were prepaid on the uhaul website. The attendant was nice and apologized, but still a little unorganized since they seem to be understaffed running three different departments.

staff had no idea what they were doing, took a half hour to get the trailer after pre registration. Had to hook it up my self, trailer was full of moving blankets i didnt order, could barely get out of parking lot due to a uhaul truck blocking the entrance. After returning the trailer they must have forgotten to inform the main office of the return as I was contacted about the whereabouts of the trailer. I love Uhaul, use it often, always had good experience. This was the first time it wasnt so.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company! Your rental locations lie to force you into getting insurance. Your 1-800 number cant really help you at all. You area manager doesnt respond to email and calls. I will NEVER rent anything from uhaul again! This all has been a nightmare and a complete rip off!

you can start by having the same regional policies at every location, not creating different policies depending on what location you are going to, for instead because the west side of buffalo is considered poverty strickend neighborhood charge $200 cash deposit on a truck rental, that is what I call racial profiling..... i will be speaking to a corporate office

I am extremely unhappy with this rental. I wanted to pick the truck up at 7:00. Uhaul called me and switched me to this dump of a location that doubles as a liquor store and "corner store" and was supposed to open at 9:00. The guy who runs this uhaul showed up an hour late so we didn't get started moving until 10:00. The guy looked hung over but claimed he was in a car accident. The location was an additional 14 miles in the wrong direction so of course that put me over the mileage limit for the day. Not at all happy and no concession for this unhappy experience!

Location is close to where I needed to drop off and was convenient. It was a bit busy at the store at is also a check cashing place and liquor store. Also the front area was crowded with boxes and a bit unorganized

The prompted instructions from the email confirmation of the steps to do at pick up could have been more clear. Looking at your SELF PICK UP instructions online it said I'd need my phone to go through pick up procedure specifically at site. It wanted me to select a menu option that wasn't even available when I logged in. The website also said I would have to self check in because my pickup time was outside of business hours - but my location was in fact open at the uhaul desk and I was helped by great staff from that corner store. Not sure if the operation hours for this location just need to be updated...?
