The truck I used was very clean, but it seemed to need some maintenance. Specifically, the transmission seemed to have issues and I was a little concerned during parts of my trip - especially on some steeper hills. After all was said and done, everything went well and the process to rent and return was easy.

The daily Safe coverage fee of $14 was never explained and I would not have paid for it. The mileage fee was charged at $.99 per mile when it should have been$.69 as agreed upon prior to the rental.

You customer service phone line is absolutely the worst. I was on hold numerous times for 20 minutes and was ultimately disconnected. I never got through to alert you that 2 reservations which I didn't make ( in Arizona and Texas) showed up on my log in on your web site. When I attempted to get a drop off place for the rental truck by calling the number I was told to call at the pick up point, I again could not get through and had to search the city for a drop off place. You really need to fix this. My rental truck was great, but I will never contact U-haul again and will certainly not recommend it to friends because you are so very difficult to contact.

You should explain the tow/haul button to your customers. I drove around town with that button on - consuming far more gas than necessary - got 7 mpg.

the drop off location should be spelled out on the contract. UHAUL traffic tried to get me to drive an additional 45 mins to a different drop off location in Lancaster NH , which I could not do as I didn't have a ride back from there . it all worked out in the end I dropped it at Seths Automotive in Lyndonville so all is well

I don't appreciate your fuel gage. I was charged an extra $9.38 for gas. I put gas in the truck before I dropped it off. I put 2.5 gallons in. I have the receipt for it. I put 14 miles on the truck. How could I have possibly used 5 gallons of fuel. That's BS!!!! I rent quite a few uhauls across the country. And have been noticing that I put fuel in and your gage doesn't register properly. It would be so much easier if you fill your trucks before renting so we could stop playing this guessing game on replacing used fuel. gas prices are low, not high like it was a few years ago

I have never been treated as badly by any customer service employee in my 56 years. I called Cheney Noyes the GM when I got home and told him the whole story. He was apologetic and professional, more than I can say for the employee that waited on me. Good luck.

be more truthful about your contracts and amounts due. your staff and customer service are poorly trained and ignorant with poor customer service skills in fact they have a very high customer dissatisfaction rating. they are useless, ill informed and combatant. never use your service for anything ever again
