This is first, second, amd third a restaurant, not a U-Haul location. There is not U-Haul counter, and ZERO U-Haul staff on site. The restaurant staff have no idea about the U-Haul franchise apart from calling their manager who authorizes the rental. It is NOT a good experience. The location also does not appear to have any means of cleaning the vehicles, and certainly no staff to do so. They also left me a truck with 1/8 tank of gas…such an inconsiderate thing to do!
Melanie RFirst I kept getting pushed further from my intended Uhaul location into the center of the city, which added unnecessary headaches and was not worth the mileage discount. Then Uhaul website and app crashed when trying to do mobile check out and neither would load despite other websites and email working. Location was not equipped to deal with this and between having to explain 10 times the app wasnt working and having to send pictures by text for the inspection I was late for a pickup appointment. Then truck felt downright terrifying to drive with alignment issues causing the truck's front end to walk and turning 1/8 turn of the steering wheel just to drive straight. Brakes also worked poorly, tires barely gripped and seemed under inflated and cargo door was stiff and difficult to open and close. Of the 20 or so uhaul rentals I've had this was by far the worst experience
GRAHAM PThe truck I got was completely on empty of gas. The parking lot was icy, and I slipped in the parking lot getting into the truck. I also couldn't get the app to work properly. It took me over an hour and a half with customer service before I could actually get the truck.
Brian FOwner was not available but he made transactions very smooth . I couldn't meet that guy personally but he was very helpful and understandable even on the phone.
