Communications could be better. Most of the time phone calls were not answered and didn’t return calls when a message was left asking for a return phone call.

Shop was closed when we arrived, and dealer showed up very shortly after. He received the keys and said we'd be emailed a receipt. We said we cleaned it and blankets were folded in the back, and when we asked if he wanted to look at it before we left, he said it didn't matter since we bought the insurance. We were never invited into the office (I can't remember if he even unlocked the door), and we drove off wondering if we'd just handed the truck and keys over to a thief or the real agent. Thank heavens we received a receipt a few hours later! It might be a good location to rent from, but is iffy for returns from our experience.
ALEXANDER PThe truck was not 20 ft. It was 16’9”. It was slightly dirty inside. Personnel was not very friendly.
Dana PI did after hours drop off, but it was quick to do.
ORION VAbsolutely horrendous pick up experience. I will never use U-Haul again. First, the reservation means nothing, they can change the location at their whim and not let you know until the night before. Good luck trying to get help with that, their reps are rude and unhelpful. The woman I talked to wouldn’t let me talk to her supervisor because “she’s just going to say the same thing” and then because “she’s not here”. I requested a call back for the next morning (the morning I’m supposed to pick up, mind you) and got nothing. I ended up having to pay for an uber to get to the rental location because I had already driven my car across the country and had specifically chosen U-Haul and the location I had reserved because I could walk there, but the reservation is more like a request that you won’t know if it’s approved until the night before, according to the rep I spoke to. Anyway, I get there after paying more money on an uber, and the place is closed. Not a huge deal, until the truck won’t start. I call their reps again and this time I get a man who is even more rude than the first, instead of trying to get me on my way with a different truck or any apology he just tells me to call roadside assistance. Basically “not my problem”. So I get to sit in a hot truck for an hour after 30 minutes of doing the pick up process just to get the keys. I have no where else to go, since the location is closed and it’s in an industrial business park. The experience with the contracted companies was great, but U-Haul is absolute hell to work with. But of course this isn’t all, because the next day when I plan on driving this thing across the country, the truck doesn’t start AGAIN. So I have to get roadside assistance for a second time, and delayed my trip another two hours, which again isn’t the fault of the contracted roadside assistance, it’s entirely the fault of uhauls lack of maintenance of the vehicle. I would never recommend anyone go through uhaul, and I hope they fire both of the reps I spoke to. U-Haul can get bent.
