We were told we could bring the truck back before 5:00 we picked it up at 2;30 and got charged for two days if we had been informed of that we could have been back in time!( we got screwed) There were empty fast food bags behind the seats and it was hard to start you had to play with the shift lever to start the truck. not happy

I asked for a 10 truck to move 3 pieces of furniture. They gave me a 20 to 26 truck. Charged me $94 for 6 hours. Should have been charged 19.99 or 29.99. And 31 miles gas. I turned the truck in at 4:46 pm. They charged me til 7:10 pm.

Check-in/rental was very easy and quick - 5 stars for that. However, the truck (15' model) overwhelmingly smelled of urine in the back, and there were tons of bugs on the windshield (while that last bit is minor, it should have been clean). Truck worked fine, staff was efficient. Wish rates could be cheaper! Lol

I locked the keys and my personnel keys, garage door opener and the service guy didn’t care much about getting in a hurry to help me out, he said he left 2 messages to have the truck opened. My reservation was set at another location and when I arrived, the attendant let me know my reservation was at the Independence location. I then tried your self serve to locate my vehicle, and no trucks were available. I had to settle for a van which got the job done, but it's the principle of things. Also, the van was not at the 3/4 line like my paper work said, so I had fear I was going to be charged a fee which I wasn't, but this rental with U-Haul was my worst one yet. Please fix your website for the 24/7 rentals.

Was charged wrongly for mileage. I sent them an email and called them to please call me concerning the matter.... and have yet to be called back.



I have been waiting for a manager to call me about my experience for over a week . We got double charged because the truck we went for was broken and wouldn’t start . And then the truck we had to get was bigger than what we needed . So it was extra money out of our pockets. Another thing is we have been waiting to be refunded and it’s been a week ! Terrible service all around .

Dropped off the trailor about an hour and a half before closing. It never got checked in. Only after several calls was it checked in the next day and a reciept sent to me.

Did not have my reserved equipment, the csr was less than helpful and even made negative comments about how it happens all the time because the people on the phone aren't in the store. Tried to send me across town and after another phone call I found the equipment 1 mile from there. Then at that location (securesafe) they were unable to rent me the items I needed because they couldn't figure out how, after an hour of waiting. The truck I was driving was dangerous to travel in, feels as if the tie rod ends were badly worn causing the vehicle to be hard to keep straight. There sounded like an exhaust leak as well.

The gas gauge was filled to the correct amount same level when it was taken. I dropped the truck off the guy stated he will email the receipt. I said i want to wait yo be checked out to make sure everything was fine. He walked sround the truck lolked in and got yve keys from me . Time hsd psst no receipt. I contacted customer service they had to send s message to that location to recieve my receipt to show that i was charged for gas when I returned on the level i took it. Im bery displeased on how this was handle. He ahould have taken the time to check me in, instead of brushing me off. Very poor customer sevice

Well, all is good but, the area is small and gets pretty tough to maneuver trucks & trailers when busy. The staff works with you to assist and that offsets any bad. Great bunch of guys!

I was given a rotational truck that's usually kept locally to travel over 300 miles. The truck had 135,732 miles on it and not in the best running condition. Since the 15 ft truck I reserved was not available, had no choice but to take this truck. This high mileage truck and poor maintenance made travels from North Carolina to Virginia rough.
