The truck I was given was completely covered in snow at pickup, which already showed a lack of preparation. On top of that, the windshield wiper motor was not functioning, and the engine was running poorly due to faulty spark plugs that needed replacement. The vehicle was clearly not road-ready. As a result, I ended up without a usable truck on moving day. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another rental through a different company and pay a premium price for a smaller truck. Because of the smaller size, I had to make additional trips, increasing mileage, time, and overall stress. It has now been over a week, and I am still waiting for U-Haul to contact me regarding a refund for the truck and the associated extra expenses. I have received no follow-up or resolution. This experience caused unnecessary costs, delays, and frustration during what was already a major move.

The equipment was not ready. The uhaul reservation system let us reserve a truck on a weekened even though the location explained to us they are closed on weekends. They have had this problem before according to comments. And still this happens. There phone number does not give you a direct line to the person in charge of rentals. At the end we were charged by mistake and additional 57 miles. Check your receipts to be sure after.

Cheikh FOnly down side is u-haul site we showing available to pick up on Saturday morning, but location called to mentionned they were closed on Saturday. We were able to work a solution, but it was still last minutes and outside of what website and reservatio were showing
Jacques JDolly and pads weren't on the truck, it was reported but no action was taken, but I did have to pay for them. The truck was dirty.
