We got to this location a little after nine. It is a motel so I figured there would be no issues however the door was locked so I rang the bell and waited close to 5 minutes. So then I called the motel and after a few minutes someone finally picked up. I explained that I was out front and trying to get a uhaul. He asked if I had a reservation and I said yes I did. He sounded really annoyed and told me he was coming. Another 5 minutes waiting outside and he finally comes and unlocks the door. He already had all the paperwork ready. Showing that we were picking up at 9am so I Am not sure what was keeping him away from the desk.

They were very friendly and helpful

Perhaps it is on line somewhere, but I did not know until arrival what size hitch ball was needed or what type of light connection plug was needed.

Took a long time to get truck from this location. I had checked in on line and was still delayed.Truck needed wiper blades but was clean.

When I arrived at 10:05a for my 10a appointment, there was no one at the motel to help. I waited 35min, calling the motel and called Uhaul customer care. After numerous rearrangements I was able to pick up part if my reservation. This cost me nearly 4hrs of lost packing time. Moving is stressful enough and this experience at this establishment was miserable! The grounds were unkept with beer bottles and not in a nice part of town.

the lady where we checked in the trailer could not have been any more accomodating or nicer

The people running this place were very rude. They charge $10 to hook the trailer up for you, which I have never seen at any other UHaul location. Ever. I've used UHaul quite a few times and the employee at that location always was very courteous and helpful with the trailer. Lifting a 6x12 trailer is not something someone with a bad back should have to do because of a $10 surcharge. Then, upon returning the trailer I was backing it up parallel with another trailer and was approximately 2.5ft away and the lady came out and literally asked "Is that the best you can do?" in a very rude and condescending tone. I was not impressed AT ALL with this place and surprised UHaul will tolerate this.

no one was aound the office for over 20 minutes. i had to wait. a note on the desk had a number to call but no one answered. guy finally showed up and i had to help him push the trailer into its space

My only complaint is the wait time on the 800 number is very long.

There was no visible office to find a UHaul employee for help. I had to wait until they came out on their own. I only ended up at this location because the other location that you requested I return the trailer to also only had one employee and he had locked and left the premises to go to his daughter's school orientation. Extreme hassle for me.

Easy to get to. Friendly clerk.

The manager of the motel that rented the equipment was helpful and knowledgeable. I had concerns about the location as it was a poorly maintained motel which appeared to rent to people of questionable character.

The mileage was not calibrated, I drove for 20 miles and the odometer showed over 30. Very unfair and I will not be using this location again.

I reserved the trailer online to be picked up at Poole Bros. In Christiansburg VA. Wed 8am Apparently they did not have the size trailer I needed so they sent me to this place "shayona inn" The pick up time was moved twice, once until 9am, then again they texted me and said it would be 930 am. When I arrived at this "motel ", no one was there. I tried calling but the calls would not be picked up. I notified U-haul of the issue, after talking to 3 different people at uhaul someone finally got ahold of the person at shayona inn. That person then tells me that he saw me sitting in the parking lot waiting in the vehicle, but never came out to acknowledge that they were there and open. No supplies available to purchase, and he never came out to assist with hooking up the trailer. Never again. Place is awful.

Expected to pickup trailer in Blacksburg at the Marathon station. They don't carry trailers at this location.

I understand this was a satellite station and not a U-Haul office but it would have been helpful to have some assistance with the trailer to begin with. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and a smooth transaction otherwise.

Person who helped us was nice and friendly. No problems and pretty quick in and out service.. Thanks

This was a one way rental to Canada and the clerk knew nothing about how to deal with Canadian addresses or even that Canadian Postal Codes are different. The Uhaul software also seemed to give them issues as the fields to fill in were very american based.

Out of the way and difficult to figure out that the drop off point was a hotel. Better signage would be helpful.

Very efficient and friendly folks to deal with

Operator was present and friendly on a Sunday afternoon, so that was good. The location was definitely not inviting, but it was fine for a drop off.
