They tell you that you can pick your own date and time to pick up ( u-haul). I told the u-haul rep 2pm would be best for me. I found out too late that universal rental closed at noon on Sunday so I had to reschedule. They need to let you know locations hours of operation. Nice helpful man there! I recommend them!

Easy, quick pick-up for the truck and the guy who helped us was nice to talk to.
Contract to pick up was 8am. My husband was told 8:30-8:45 for pickup. Nothing was stated that we could drop it off later, because it was picked up later. Also, it would have been nice if we had been told beforehand to download drivers license so it was quicker in store. Rep was very courteous.
Staff, there went above and beyond to assist.
I dropped off during their normal hours of operation. I found the employee to be quick and had me on my way within minutes.

We actually had a terrible U-haul experience. I placed my order, waited until I heard from someone the day before pick up, my pick up location was 25 miles away from where I ordered it to be, I ordered the 26ft truck and was given a 20ft truck. So not only was my pick up location 25 miles away but I was given a smaller truck meaning more miles, more trips, more time moving! It was profitable for them but a complete stress for us and the people who helped us move. It cost us a lot more time and money. If there are other options use someone else.

items reserved were not available and did not have the correct items or did not have the correct # of items requested. Store was 15 minutes late for opening. Store hours were 0700, employee was late opening store.

Local dealer was great - very helpful. Everything online and with the 3 different U Haul people I spoke with on the 800 number were NOT helpful. MIS system kept crashing on them and the one person helping said this happens frequently, the dealer/agent confirmed this as well. Bottom line - very poor experience, painful actually. Simple transaction took over 1 hour 15 min - in future its Penske for sure. Which is sad because I used to be a fan of U Haul.
When arriving at the store, there was a well-worn sign hung on the door saying "back in 15 minutes" with no indication when the employee would return. Once the employee returned, I provided them with the key to the vehicle and asked that they perform an inspection for damage and to ensure enough gas was in the vehicle. The employee stated that they would check it later, so I left. The next day, I received an email stating that my credit card was charged an additional $13 for fuel even though I had put more than enough gas in the truck prior to return. When I called the location to question the additional charges, the employee said they were correct and that they had just checked in the vehicle that morning. When I pressed further, the employee returned to the truck to double-check and then stated that they had made a mistake and that there was more than enough gas in the truck. I am not sure if this was due to poor attention or if something else was at play.
I reserved a 10' at a much lower price then I ended up paying. They gave us a larger truck and the higher price. The original price should have been honored!
Make sure tires are good and put a spare somewhere on the trucks we had a flat and was stranded
We drove 30 miles out of our way as "this is the only location we will have a 26"truck on that day" - which was AFTER they could not find my original reservation, even though I HAD the reservation number that they had given me.
I preferred this one over some of the others because of the 7:00 am pick up
Stop telling customers what they can pull with their vehicles. The customer should pick what trailer they want. Like I was able to use the 5*9 trailer according to you guys when I could have used larger trailer and been done in half the time.
surprised it was $54.xx for renting for 3 hours. thought it would be cheaper if it was for a shorter time.
Had to make 2 trips to get the parts I needed to tow the trailer, was originally under advisement that I could purchase the needed pieces at the pick up location. My pick up location was also changed without reason provided or prior info given.

Retaining pin for right ramp gone had to use safety chain to hold in, You charged us more for the dolly than the rental car company did
Improve CS. Had a question and did live chat. They instructed me to speak with regional office. Called them and the lady had no clue about anything then directed me back to the live chat. Was a simple request to want to change my drop off location.
