The truck was older, 2010..also terrible on fuel, a diesel would be more economic at this end.

The pick up I rented was missing the radio antenna, so had limited radio and no cd player. other wise was great.

Your on-line reps should have English as a first language. Your computer system needs a drastic overhaul both in accuracy and speed. When customers have been given a run around some compensation should be made.

Everything went like clockwork. I was very efficiently and professionally dealt with. I would highly recommend the UHaul location on Fisher Rd to get your rental requirements.

Thank you Al for taking a confusing online attempt to reserve a truck and bringing it to a smooth & successful completion. My advice to anyone in the Cobble Hill area needing a rental truck is to make a phone call to Al. It is always helpful to have a local business owner in your corner.

Alan at Tools to Go/U Haul Cobble Hill is fantastic, always helpful and accomodating. He has a wide range of extremely well maintained tools to rent as well as U Haul vehicles to hire.

Truck leaked and a lot of our belongings were wet on arrival. Truck had snow tires which was great but window washer was not anti freeze and we got caught in a snowstorm where we had to drive a long distance to pick up anti freeze washer fluid. Very unsafe way to travel Our windshield was covered in ice for a long time. Pick up of truck was very vague. No one to give you a run through of running of the truck just here are the keys, go. Spent a lot of money on boxes and supplies and think we should have had a larger truck but were told this truck held furniture for a three bedroom house. We left a great portion of our furniture in Nanaimo and will have to make another trip to bring it to Thunder Bay When we tried to rent a larger truck we were told the 26 ft vans do not have snow tires and the truck was not in good shape. It would have been nice to have this info before we were told a 20' was all we needed. We were moving a 2 bedroom house with no appliances. Bit of a miscalculation on the side of u haul, Felt that the employee renting us the truck was not totally up to date on the finer points of her job. Was she informed of the rental programme or just there to sell boxes. This was not a good trip for us and would recommend to any of our friend wanting to use this service to go to Nanaimo, who seem to be totally up on the services, and not deal with Duncan. The most disappointing thing was the wet furniture and I don't mean damp, I mean wring out wet. Money not well spent and won't use the service again.

When they are moving the contents of homes suggest that they do a circle check of the exterior and interior before leaving for the new location.

They may need to update their computer equipment to make check out a bit quicker. They were very friendly and accommodating over all though.

Vehicle came as advertised. Check-in was simple and I was on the road quickly.

The staff member was not able to locate a drop-off location in Lacey in the computer database even though I had found 5 U-Haul locations in Lacey during my search on the internet. It wasn't a problem for me but it could have sent me another 50 miles or so to make the drop-off.

We had a short in our trailer light hook-up. The U-Haul attendant provided us with a complimentary replacement and directed us to a nearby mechanic who fixed it super cheap. Much thanks!

Van smelled like farm. But other than that it was awesome

The drop off location called tools2go in cobble hill bc, Al is the rudest person ever, it took us three days to unload our truck because we have various disabilities and live on fixed income, the short story, we’re exhausted still, now struggling to get my car off the tow dolly Al strolled in over and demanded to know where the truck key was, I handed it to him, he took off, returned to check the truck, didn’t bother to offer to help me struggling to get my car off the tow dolly, I returned the truck online, but it wouldn’t take my visa debit as it has usually done in the past, no one around world help me, I waited for him to come back after I kept trying to check the truck and dolly in but it kept denying my payment method over and over, I was worried I would be late for a casual shift I took, I had to leave and not pay which I’ve never done, he called upset and annoyed I didn’t pay, I told him I paid online and he scoffs at me, the next day he got rude again as he said “the truck was due two days ago” and I said you don’t need to be rude, I called in to the topaz location once and called tools2go the next time, he actually dates to claim no one told him I’ll be renting the truck for two extra daeys? What a piece of work, can this location be taken over by new management and not some middle aged entitled white man! ?

Friendly and fast.

Provide or even rent out a 3-way to 7-way wiring adapter plug so customer doesn’t have to purchase such a device to allow the trailer to connect to the hauling vehicle. Most hauling vehicles use the more common 7-way receptacle.
