The initial truck I reserved did not have the keys in the lockbox so I had to call and get the other one that was onsite. I had reserved an appliance and utility dolly and furniture pads, but the furniture pads were not there. Also, my brother could not ever get added as an authorized driver because the application kept glitching so we gave up. Even after having customer service intervene. When I returned to check it back in, the system showed the original cars contract and the mileage return didn’t line up. Fortunately I had received and emailed receipt that helped correct it. I give average rating for a couple reasons. The location of the rentals was very tight to return the truck to and the key for the original rental was not there, nor were the furniture pads. They did reimburse me for the pads though. My main complaints are the U-Haul process itself. It told me to add authorized drivers at reservation but then I couldn’t. Not until pick up. Then I had impossibility with adding one. The first customer service guy conflicted with the equipment person so I had to pivot my plans about the equipment and transferring them from first truck to the second truck. The mobile check in was glitchy. I expected a smooth process and did not get it.
