The Staff at this location is not trained in customer service. When the drop off is scheduled for after hours(especially with the new policy) the staff needs to inform customers on how to check in. It just being on the contract is not enough. Also they are not well versed in using the checkout systems. I’ve been to this location multiple times and watched employees have to reset reservations. Every time I have been to this location I have had to wait about 20-30 minutes just to speak with someone. In my opinion, this location is managed very poorly and the entire staff needs training. Be sure to take pictures of the gas gauge. I was charged for gas after refueling the truck back to the original level.

While the truck we rented was in good condition and clean, the whole rental process was very confusing. The online add for a pick-up truck states that rental is $19.95. However, by the time we rented the truck for 6 hours and drove 97 miles, the fee somehow rose to $110, and we still had to fill it up with gas! The itemized bill didn't even mention the $19.95, just the total. I am so unsure how the price changed so much and why there was no transparency in the process. So, renter beware, you will apparently be spending five times more than you bargained for.

It took over 45 minutes to get my truck because neither of the two employees on site could figure out how to use their own computer software. Eventually, a third employee appeared with smoothies for his coworkers. He was the brains of the operation. Secondly, they did not have the dolly which I had reserved earlier in the day. Rather than make an attempt to obtain a dolly, they told me that I would have to drive to the next closest U-Haul store in order to get a dolly for myself. Thirdly, they initially tried to charge me for the additional mileage for me to drive and go get my own dolly. And when I finally returned the truck, they tried to charge me for an additional day which they only removed from the charges once I questioned them. This was a regrettable experience and a huge waste of my time.

Both when I went to pick up and return there was only one employee helping customers. When I picked up, there were 3 customers waiting and it took a long time to get it processed. Return wasn't too bad because I was the only customer.

Make the price a little cheaper for simple in town moves. I am a single mom that lives in Bryan and I’m trying to send my 2 older kids to Texas A&M so every penny counts. I just think .99 per mile plus $14 for insurance plus $19.95 plus tax is a little too much. We only used this truck for 6 hours.

I had an arguement with Mr. Walker at this location about the extra fuel charge he asked me to pay. I followed the fuel fill chart in the paper work exactly. The number of graduation markings in the paper work differed from the actual gauge in the truck. I think I guessed the refill volume correctly and filled the gas tank before returning accordingly. U-haul overcharged me, $7-50 , for fuel. Install a digital gas fill meter on trucks ..otherwise accept that the customer is correct. My argument with Mr. Walker did not help me.
