In the back of the truck, I found okra, other food, a spoon, a toilet paper stand, a cops business card looking for someone with a warrant and filthy. The cab was dirty with food crumbs and cigarette ashes (lots of them). It was very apparent they didn’t check it out when it was previously returned.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience and the overall lack of professionalism and attention to detail during the process. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the clerk assisting me was not particularly responsive or attentive. He had not checked in the vehicle from the previous rental and was trying to handle my transaction while also holding a toddler, which made the pickup experience frustrating and unprofessional. The condition of the vehicle was also disappointing. There were food crumbs and leftover food in the driving compartment, the rear cargo area had not been swept, and there were miscellaneous cords left behind. Additionally, the air conditioning did not work and the AM/FM radio was not functioning. Under normal circumstances, I would have rejected the vehicle based on its condition and the issues described above. However, I reserved this vehicle more than 10 days in advance because I was required to vacate my residence by today’s date. Given that time constraint, and the fact that I made arrangements well in advance, I was left with little choice but to accept the vehicle despite its unacceptable condition. I don’t believe customers should be put in that position, especially when they’ve reserved a vehicle ahead of time and reasonably expect it to be clean and ready.
