I got the truck to where we were going to load it, and opened the door to the cargo area,and saw some debris on the floor.( dried mud, pieces of cardboard, a couple of wood screws,etc.) . Naturally i swept it out. Then i noticed a sticker on the inside of the cargo area that stated that if the customer cleaned it out before returning, they'd receive $25 back, so i swept it out again. I brought it to the return agent's attention, and he told me it would show up on my e-mailed receipt as a credit .IT DID NOT. If U-Haul isn't going to honor this, remove the stickers

Make sure to give the correct truck to the correct customer. The guy working there gave my online reservation to another person and I had to cancel my reservation and he made a brand new one and didn’t give me any paper work for it. The other gentleman that was working in the evening fixed it and gave me paperwork and everything for it

The service provided at the location was excellent. The "average" rating instead of anything higher is because the pick-up experience was marred by the online interface recommended by UHaul. This particular location apparently requires extra information -- fine, but I was not notified of these requirements until I was in the parking lot trying to use the online system. At that point, I was asked for types of documentation that I had received NO PRIOR WARNING I would need to complete the transaction. There is no reason for this... a simple email when I made the reservation explaining the additional requirements would have been fine, and presumably something the system can be programmed to email because the requirements were location based. Luckily, the person staffing the location was very helpful and I was able to complete the rental, though about 45 minutes later than I expected due to the difficulties of the check-in process.

The vehicle lost power to all gauges and turn signals while I had it. I couldn’t see how fast I was going, signal turns, or see how much gas it had. When I returned the vehicle the worker said it had been a known problem with the vehicle. This is completely unsafe and unacceptable. That said, he did apologize.

My complaints are not with this location specifically, but how my reservation was handled by U Haul in general. Booking online was easy and convenient. I was scheduled to pick up a van at 8pm, through the mobile app. I likely wouldn’t have made it to the location until 9pm, but that wouldn’t have been an issue, since I was picking up through the mobile app. I just graduated and was celebrating with my family across town. Received a call and voicemail from UHaul customer service at 7:15 saying they couldn’t get ahold of the location and if I wanted the van I needed to get there by 7:55. They left no direct call back number. I left my own celebration party, took a 45$ Uber across town to get to this place before 8, although there was no need to get there by 8, because the location did not close until 9:30.

The process of picking up the truck was painful. It took forever and I wasn’t exactly feeling safe sitting in the parking lot of this location. Zero chance I would have chosen the spot if there were any other trucks available in the entire city of Columbus but there were not. It took forever to take the necessary pictures, walk around the car, do all of the checks-most of which could have been done before getting to the actual location. Also requested a dolly. That was neither in The truck, nor given to me on pick up. Felt like I wasted a lot of time and probably should just pick another company next time

Let them know you've changed the pickup location? I showed up to the store i requested at 9:30am as planned only to be told that I was at the wrong location. They reassigned the pickup location and failed to notify me.

This location is in a very sketchy area. If you were a female by yourself you would not feel safe here. We were supposed to get 12 furniture pads and only received 8. We were not given any option to inspect the vehicle before we paid for everything.
