Only minor complaint was the required return of the truck to the Hillard location instead of a u-haul closer to the area I moved to. Otherwise the experience was top notch. Thank you for the good work.

Uhaul App is not fully functional. Uhaul rep was able to help with the issue I was having with the app in order to upload my drivers license. Not a big deal to me but if the App worked properly that would be great too. Thanks
The location was great, equipment was clean, but the vehicle drove like a tank. Vehicle was sluggish and beware of vehicle lurching forward after applying brakes. Also, don't think that I will ever return a vehicle after hours again due to all of the requirements, pictures, etc. to complete the checkout. I have rented from other truck companies this year and thought U-haul would be less expensive for a local move, but the $0.99 per mile adds up fast.

Verified that all the crap I was told about why no blankets, dollies etc and he was most apologetic and depressed about the state othe truck when I picked it up. His store and organization when compared to Indiana locations were like night and day. Need to pay this guy more money and send him to sort your other locations I am sad I forgot to get his name.
Employee was not wearing a mask. Check engine light was on the entire trip. Mirrors were not in a usable place and were not adjustable.

This location didn't offer box buyback. You should clarify your policy that only certain â€œofficialâ€ Uhaul centers will buy back boxes.

The use of the self checkout was very bad it didn't work. The guy who work at the location was very friendly and very helpful. I suggest he get a raise!
The front desk person was wonderful and helpful.
Online booking didn't work. Had to get a 10 foot truck instead of the 17' I needed. The truck reeked of body odor/gym socks. The new "self check-in" is onerous and you should make sure that your clerks warn the customer that there will be a $20 "convenience fee" if they are unwilling or UNABLE to do all of the picture posting and data usage on your phone to do what used to be a person's job. Couldn't help but notice that there was no discount for doing the check-in myself. AND after completing the check-in, I was told I owed a total (after prepaying for all but 3 miles of usage) that didn't show my payment and appeared to show that I would be charged the ENTIRE AMOUNT AGAIN! I'm very disappointed in the whole transaction and I will be looking to Ryder or Penske the next time I move. Perhaps they will be more honest and straightforward. Also, there was pre-existing damage on the truck but no place to enter that into the GARBAGE "truck verification" part. So, I was spammed with text messages that were neither helpful nor informative. You need to completely rework your program if your company is planning to continue in this fashion...
My reservation was changed to a local drop off without informing me of this. Therefore I had to return the truck to the original location which was 80 miles from where I moved, causing an extra $100 in charges and an extra $30 in gasoline. I submitted a complaint and the uhaul employee stopped replying to my emails. I will not be using uhaul ever again if this is not fixed.

This was the worst experience I have ever had when it comes to customer service. I am not talking about the Hilliard Rome Rd location. I am talking about the location on Wilson Road location where I rented a truck online and was given a confirmation number. They called me and said they did not have a truck at 9 Am that I had a confirmation number four. But could give me one at 11. I said that was fine. Then they called me back and said that they could not get me a truck till 4. How do you get a confirmation number for 9 AM. And have it change 2 times then end up with no truck. This is bull shit and there are other trucks in the area. That will get my Business for now on
Vehicle was unavailable upon arrival for self-check in. Attendant took 10 minutes to bring vehicle up front so that I could obtain. Self-pickup was rendered irrelevant since attendant checked me out anyway. Process was awkward and defied the expectation represented in my communications with the company.
