Had much difficulty obtaining the truck from the rental facility as the GPS showed I was not there when I was. The rental facility was some distance away from where the available U-Haul was and was behind a locked gate with a large van on the other side of the gate so I could not enter. I had to call customer Help and the lady was quite rude and hung up on me once. When I called back, she continued to be rude to me. I tried to add on an additional driver as our original driver had backed out the last minute the night before. I was told that I should have done that a time and dispatch when the order was placed. When I explained the situation I was told I would have to cancel the reservation and start the whole process again in order to add somebody. I was worried about being able to obtain the truck at all if the reservation was canceled and rescheduled and I did not have time to do so. I am physically disabled and I walk with two canes (I do have a drivers license and I’m able to drive). I was there for stuck having to drive the U-Haul myself and had extreme difficulty getting into the U-Haul as my knees need replaced due to history of a prior car accident 18 years ago. I had to actually be helped into the vehicle. I was uncertain that they check in process had been completed and had to call back to Customer Service a third time to make sure it was OK to remove the vehicle from the lot. At this time, I got to speak to the rude lady at Customer Service for the third time, and her attitude did not improve any. (if someone would like to contact me, I do remember her name.). The facility itself was well set up and organized other than the GPS system not working as placing me close enough to the actual rental facility as it was behind a lock gate. Perhaps it should be reevaluated for future rentals for the company. I otherwise had a good experience with the rental equipment. The dolly was there as it was supposed to be and the truck was in good condition. The checkout process was much better and I was able to check out and return your truck with much more ease than picking it up. Thankfully, I did not have to call Customer Service, for which I am grateful after having the experience with them on the phone that I had when I picked the truck up.
