Lots of dog hair on the seats of the panel van. Can could have been vacuumed out. Long line (40 min wait) to get keys for box van that I booked online the day before. Family tells me it was Sunday so I should expect a line of 10 customers in front of me at 9 am, but still, seemed like there could be more than 2 customer service agents at the front counter.

Charge of $1 per mile not specified in rental verbal agreement, though in the lengthy contract. Aggressive given the condition of the truck and the other charges. To achieve $150 for a “$49” rental is egregious deception. By comparison, other rental agencies are half or less. Will never return.

Everything was great with customer service and delivery of the reserved equipment (10' truck, appliance dolly, furniture pads). However, this location needs much better customer parking. Only 5-6 spaces, which were not available when I arrived to pick up my equipment at 1:00pm. It was necessary for me to park approximately 1/2 mile away.

Check in and check out with your new system was horrendous and very poorly thought out. It felt like I work for . And I should have been the one getting paid. Throw in the employees lack of customer service and you have a bad experience.

Originally my drop off was Campus Dr. Newport location. It was closed. There was no space to park the truck and no gate access. After 45 minutes of phone time with inefficient Uhaul personnel, I was asked to return at a different location. Also, gasoline level at pick up was well overestimated.

I was surprised by how filthy the moving bins we rented were. We’re not going to eat off them, but a quick rinse of a hose seems like a simple step U-Haul could take.

Would be nice to have 2 people to check in customers at the opening of the day. I arrived early but still had to wait while the only clerk was working with a customer from scratch.

The pamphlet given for after-hours drop off states it will cost "20.00 for after hours drop-off", yet it was told that it was for no cost. I was not charged, but after a long day of loading/unloading, it was a bit frustrating to deal with the contradicting information. Also, the larger trailer was difficult to 'lift' off the ball after towing. I thought I had to use the crank jack to lift the trailer off the ball, but couldn't figure out how to release it (not like my boat trailer or any other trailer I have experience with), so thank goodness another late hour dropper offer was there to assist. It took three strong people- I could not have done it on my own and should probably be told that (I was told it is a simple release). Also- parking at the location didn't seem clear. Signage told us to drive to the rear, but upon checkout, the clerk told me to park it by the bay I received it from. Again, after a long day, it was not clear with certainty. These are little things that I have learned and will ask about upon my next rental, but perhaps could help someone else.

It's very hard to get in/out of this location if you drive a car there. There's a turnaround drive-way, but no room to park your car in order to pay, so cars will block each other and people can't get in/out. Having space for customers to park their own cars while they pay would be extremely helpful. Service is very slow as well.

Production machine and not for customer experience. The truck was filthy and we couldn’t see out of the windows. But you make it a point that the bed is clean and return it clean. Parking lot sucked and there is no where for customers to park!! I will NEVER come to this place. Look at yelp!! I will absolutely make sure people hear this. Where has customer service gone!! Call me.
