I give 5 stars to Don at the 865 8th St Courtenay, BC location and the truck I rented. I give zero stars to the app I have downloaded to my phone I was directed to the wrong location at 3170B Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, BC. The app stalled when I tried to enter my new address. I called the toll free number and the person tried to help but when it came to opening the lock box, the padlock did not work. She then called Don who called me and asked me to come to his location. He helped me even though it was his day off on a Sunday. We discovered the truck I had reserved was at his location and he had the reservation information. He also told me that the padlock code I was given was not valid for any of his lockboxes. If I had not been able to rent a truck, it would have been seriously convenient. So, I give a shout out to Don. Will I recommend his location to a friend? Yes, with the proviso that your app is crap and that they should deal with real people when the office is open.
