The trucks A/C did not work. Temperature reached 100F. It was a hot miserable moving experience. U-Haul has not compensated us 1 penny for this grossly incompetence example of vehicle maintenance and customer care. A working air conditioning system in a vehicle in the middle of July in the southern part of the country is totally Unforgivable. We arrived at the loading or unloading destinations totally burnt up and unable to load or empty the vehicle for hours until our bodies were able to do the work. Not one red Cent was compensated for this gross neglection of vehicle maintenance.

This review has nothing to do with the pickup location and rests solely with U-Haul as a company. The process of checking out the vehicle through the U-Haul app was unnecessarily long and communication was poor. I went through 4 different customer service reps before calling in. The first time I called, the person answered and immediately hung up before I could say hi. The second person was incredibly helpful and accomplished in 2 minutes what had taken over an hour for everyone else to do. There has got to be a better process. We spent approximately 15-20 minutes trying to get in contact with my emergency contact. They refused to give me the truck until they made contact. I uploaded a Live Photo, front and back of my ID, and gave you payment. The fact that you have to wait to speak to another adult, who was at work, before you render the service that I paid for is ridiculous. Because of this, I was 1.5 hours behind on my moving schedule. Remove this ridiculous policy of calling and have your agents communicate better.
Jeffrey CReserved Truck and Toy Hauler to be picked up at the location......when i arrived they told me they never have toy haulers and that i would need to pick up at another location even though reservation said to pick up in Covington. Had to drive rental truck to Ponchatoula to pick up toy hauler that added about 30 additional miles to my trip......luckily granted 409 miles and ended up driving 408.8 miles in total.
