I would avoid renting from this place. Although to be fair they mentioned that they usually rent the truck directly and that they weren't sure why Uhaul was letting me rent it from their website. So if you go directly through them (the firework store, I guess going in and talking to them? or calling them idk) then it will probably be a much better experience? I showed up right when my rental was starting and was able to do the check in stuff on the app. My signal there wasn't too great, probably plan 15 minutes of your rental going to checking in. But then the app told me to show my phone to someone at the counter (of the firework store) to get the keys. Except the store is closed with a sign saying they moved down the street (as of today it still shows both as open on google maps). Ok np, I walk the 1.5 blocks or so to the new spot. Except the parking lot is empty and the doors are locked (during the middle of their listed open hours idk). So idk what to do now, I walk back to the truck and call the Uhaul support line. A very pleasant customer service person was able to call someone from the firework store, although it took almost 10 minutes from the time that I started the call, explained the situation and gave info, them reaching someone, to being told someone from the store would be there in 2-3 minutes with the key. Well about another 10 minutes later they showed up and got me the key and I was able to do the final steps of the check in and drive away. All in all it took 50 minutes to get the truck. Thankfully it was just frustrating and the person waiting on me to pick up some furniture was very understanding about the delay. That being said if the check in and pick up was set up in a way that you can get the keys right away I think this would be a good and convenient place to do it. And the truck wasn't too old and had a back up camera which was super nice.

Wouter RI had reserved my uhal truck on June 3 2024 to move across the United States. We got a voicemail at 6 pm on Saturday night June 23rd the night before we pick up our truck saying it was not available. We had to scramble to get a truck with the next day being Sunday. They gave our truck and auto transport away, and wanted to charge us more money. With my walls down ready to load a truck that they gave away is unacceptable. I would not recommend ever using uhal again. What’s the point of a reservation if you don’t have what you reserved 3 wks prior? Also, moving is stressful enough with the hassle of getting a truck last min. Definitely very unsatisfied, and unethical.
