The trucks with 1.5” from each truck mirrors I was not able to load pictures n the system. The truck had faulty windshield wipers. I was also a part of the relocate equipment plan. The 2 men that attached the 6x12 trailer did not plug in the lights all the way— it was very hard to push all the way on and they chose not to give it the extra effort. I was pulled over by the police on 3/7 around 6:30pm and threatened with a ticket. Very scary I am a person with disability and hurt my shoulders that have both had rotator cuff surgery to push the wiring all the way on. Someone could have hit the trailer with no lights. The second day drive at 9:30pm it begin to sprinkle and the faulty windshield wipers just smeared all the way across top and bottom. The windshield wipers fluid made it worst— I have pics trying to drive under these conditions which was very dangerous!! I called for help and when someone showed up they didn’t have windshield wiper replacements and I was eventually put in a hotel and my going home was delayed. I had called on Saturday and had a busted knee, arm and fractured rib and bruised muscles of rib. I just wanted to go home. For $15 windshield check I was prevented from going home and get the medical care that I needed. It was a very scary and horrible 1400 mile trip in your equipment. I am appalled by the rental equipment that I was given. Shame on you Uhaul for NOT doing the very minimal checks to your truck!!!!!!

I would avoid renting from this place. Although to be fair they mentioned that they usually rent the truck directly and that they weren't sure why Uhaul was letting me rent it from their website. So if you go directly through them (the firework store, I guess going in and talking to them? or calling them idk) then it will probably be a much better experience? I showed up right when my rental was starting and was able to do the check in stuff on the app. My signal there wasn't too great, probably plan 15 minutes of your rental going to checking in. But then the app told me to show my phone to someone at the counter (of the firework store) to get the keys. Except the store is closed with a sign saying they moved down the street (as of today it still shows both as open on google maps). Ok np, I walk the 1.5 blocks or so to the new spot. Except the parking lot is empty and the doors are locked (during the middle of their listed open hours idk). So idk what to do now, I walk back to the truck and call the Uhaul support line. A very pleasant customer service person was able to call someone from the firework store, although it took almost 10 minutes from the time that I started the call, explained the situation and gave info, them reaching someone, to being told someone from the store would be there in 2-3 minutes with the key. Well about another 10 minutes later they showed up and got me the key and I was able to do the final steps of the check in and drive away. All in all it took 50 minutes to get the truck. Thankfully it was just frustrating and the person waiting on me to pick up some furniture was very understanding about the delay. That being said if the check in and pick up was set up in a way that you can get the keys right away I think this would be a good and convenient place to do it. And the truck wasn't too old and had a back up camera which was super nice.
