I received the rental truck at 3/4 tank of fuel, I immediately informed the attendant and he informed me he would correct the information in the system. When I returned the vehicle there was not anyone that worked with U-haul there and I was told to drop the keys off with the other workers that were present, and I would get my receipt via email. I received my receipt and I was charged for 8 gallons of fuel to fill the tank back to full. I also had a charge to my account for $83.25 with no receipt as to what it was for. I called and talked to the U-haul billing services and it was taken care of quickly and professionally. I would recommend U-haul to anyone, but not this location.

They people on site were in informed on how to do anything and called on the phone 2 hrs later to tell me I had left without paying. I was never asked to do any paper work or pay. They acted like I had done this on purpose.

If I could give this location a no stars rating I would. It was in a dirty building that appeared to be part of an old garage in a strip mall. As soon as we walked in, I wondered if we would get out alive. It looked like something out of a movie set where there's a drug deal/raid about to happen. The "attendant" immediately barked at us that they were closed....although they were supposed to be open another 45 minutes. I told them we were trying to return the truck. He yelled at someone in the back to come take care of the return. Guy came up took the key and said ok, that's it. I said aren't you going to check the truck out before we leave. I just want to make sure we don't get charged for not enough gas or anything. He says nope, we will send you the receipt by email. Worst customer service possible. The only positive thing I can say is that we got the receipt with no additional charges.

Instructions on returning the truck was not made clear. My drop-off location was removed somehow causing me to have to drive the truck back from Charlotte to Durham which ended up being a more expensive trip than expected.

The owner was frustrated by some system lag while checking me out. He let me take the truck without finishing the checkout process, which I greatly appreciated. We took care of the checkout and payment at a later time. I think that is great customer service!

This location had the slowest service (even as I was the only customer in there) that I had ever experienced. There was no urgency what so ever of the man helping me. Even once I got the keys he wouldn't so much as show me which truck was mine, instead he pointed at a number on the keychain. I asked about adding miles for the truck I was using since I had to drive to Charlotte from Durham and would have easily used my 171 mile limit because I would need to make other trips once in Charlotte. His response was that he could do nothing about it and to call the other location. Once I called the other location they also apparently could do nothing about it. Upon drop off I was made aware that I could've called a 1-800 number to help but no one bothered to tell me that as I tried to preemptively account for the miles and minimize the additional costs. The man at the pickup never bothered to complete any inspection of the truck to document any preexisting damages (which I have done every time I have used uhaul). The truck I received was dirty on the inside, covered with snow on the windshield and had blanckets in the back that I hadn't ordered and was required to fold at my drop off location or else take another cost for folding services. I would never ever ever recommend this location. In fact I would recommend the closing of said location.

I returned the truck that cost 39.99 per day. Why was I charged over 100.00. The office was just dirty, smelled like someone was smoking marijuana alongside incense. I felt like turning around to run the hell out of that place.
