The folks here came thru for me. We had a moving company scheduled to pick up our stuff and take it across country. They were awful, doubled the agreed contract price before they got out the truck. We went with uhaul instead. Got a truck and moved our stuff into a pod instead. Staff at uhaul helped us with a last minute truck and were friendly and helpful. Great job windy flats crew!!!!
The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My only complaint would be that I wish I had been charged when I brought the van back and told them I had crossed a bridge, they could've charged me for it then. Regardless, I had a very good experience.

The customer service was great. The truck was a little beaten up.
Had a little difficulty with rear roll up door getting stuck in open position making me late for turn in the following day. Company was gracious not charging me a late fee.

This location may or may not typically accept after hours drop offs. There was not a clear location for me to do so, and there was no lock box where I could leave the keys. At the beginning of the next business day the owner of the facility called my phone 10x asking where they keys were. I explained they were in the vehicle since there was no other safe place to leave the keys. Being more clear about expectations would be good.

My service was a little confusing. I reserved online for this location and I get there and I am told that I did not have reservations there and that uhaul should have contacted me. Well I did not like the fact when I got a hold of a representative that had contacted me after my scheduled time, I am told that my reservation is way out in East Oakland. That is way out my way and out of my time schedule for the vehicle. At windy location just so happen a van was returned before leaving. I asked could that be rented and they were able to rent it. Without that being able to happen. I would not have been able to do what I had to do with the rental. This made me unsatisfied with using online service for a rental. I would not recommend booking on line.
The truck i received was very clean and very well maintained. The customer service was excellent and the staff answered all my questions.

The person who was helping me and everyone else in the “office/store†we're not wearing a mask or socially distancing when talking to me and showing me the truck. I did not feel safe however I needed the truck since that was the only one left in the area. Definitely will not be going back.

Very friendly staff and convenient location
The mirrors were dirty but that was easy to clean at the gas station. When you're not accustom to driving a big truck it's just another obstacle if it's not easy to see out the side mirrors. There was a Tow light on that took us half way through the trip to see that there was directions on how to turn that off. A quick check by Uhaul hosts would have taken care of that. Otherwise, super nice front office and very helpful on the phone. Thank you all!
