Unfortunately, we had an issue where our original truck was supposed to be taken down for repairs, and un-rentable. However, the UHAUL app assigned us a truck with a bad tire. The associate at the desk was able to switch us into the next truck beside it, but there was issues with the length of time requested, and unfortunately the furniture pads we requested were also available. 😑 It is what it is, we had a safe move nonetheless and we are satisfied! The app needs some fixing up perhaps to avoid future mishaps such as these!

Truck had a furniture dollie, hand truck and moving blankets in the back that were not removed from the previous rental. I had to unload them onsite before leaving since I did not order any of these items.
Cheryl SFirstly- I had come across this location earlier in 2024 however did not choose to rent from here after seeing it was based out of a ‘comic store’. Secondly, when I picked up the van, it smelled like someone had smoked a ‘blunt’ in it. I notified the “comic book guy,” and truthfully, he was legitimately concerned and accommodating, however he claimed he spent “30 minutes” cleaning it to get rid of the smell…. I opened all the doors and put the fan on full blast and that corrected the smell within 15 minutes.. Secondly.. I was made aware that my extended rental (I’ll admit I should have been more proactive in my own communication), was nearly escalated to the vehicle being reported as stolen. I was only contacted by contrast his location once, whereupon I made my intentions/misunderstanding regarding a ongoing usage clear, however he told me he had been contacted multiple times by U-Haul ‘corporate’ regarding the status of my rental. Upon his one and only phone call I was somewhat alarmed and made sure to contact U-Haul corporate and make sure my rental was in current status. This guy is very nice but doesn’t appear to be the best at managing U-Haul rentals. Quite honestly it seems somewhat bizzare to rent a U-Haul from a basement comic book store. I do not want this comment to be made public. He is a nice guy. I just want this to be seen by U-Haul corporate.
Daniel PDid not sign out the vehicle to me and I had to do the walk through by myself.
