The facility I rented from gave me a truck without providing any intitail paperwork. The tank was virtually empty as the low fuel light went on after driving it 3 miles. The odometer read: 19068. This was a one way rental. When I turned in the vehicle, the odometer read 19120. To my surprise, was told I was being charged an additional 60 miles, plus an added fuel charge of $20.25. How can this possibly be, when I turned the vehicle having driven the truck only 52 miles with more gas then when I picked it up!! When the agent printed off the original paperwork(which I never recieved) showed that the truck I picked up (according to th computer), showed 19013 on the odometer with 1/2 tank of gas. I was told from the receiving agent that the computer is right and he has no authority to fix this obvious error. So, the obvious conclusion: Someone drove that truck 55 miles before I rented it and that mileage was never documented in the system. How can something like this happen? Certainly someone in the Uhaul administration can investigate how this extra milage was able to bypass the "system"

Location was not as convenient as others, however the rep was helpful.
WILLIAM CHave someone who presents himself more professionally to the customer who knows how to do his job and who doesn’t take over an hour to check people in and get their vehicle. It took me an hour literally to get my vehicle and get away from there. The vehicle was not full of gas, it only had a quarter of a tank. The drop off location was also just as poor and unprofessional as the pick up. It was a very, very bad situation at the beginning and at the end.
JOAN HThe night before my pick up, I was called and told I had to pick it up there. The truck did not have the furniture blankets in it that I had ordered. He did not have them. It also had the wrong dolly. I had to go somewhere else and pick them up. There was a hole in the roof of the truck and the truck was very dirty on the outside also said it was seven eights a tank of gas and it was half full.
