Maybe it was the UHaul App that was glitchy, but when we got there before the store was opened, the App did not provide a code to the combination to get the key. So we had to wait until the store opened to get the key. When we finally got the key and we were driving off the lot, we noticed that the SafeTrip Fee for $5 was added to the account, which we didn't want. They told us if we wanted it removed we had to return the truck. Since we were late to our appointment, we said we would just pay the SafeTrip Fee, but they instructed us to still return the trunk for whatever reason. So we had to make a U-Turn and return the trunk. Waited for another truck and then had to go through the entire process with the UHaul App, taking the pictures, etc. The entire time took over 2 hrs, which made us late to our appointment so we had to cancel that. And guess what? At the end, we were still charged the $5 Safe Trip fee, which I had to call in to get it removed. The people there were really apologetic, but it was overall a frustrating experience.

Great experience, with your staff and services
CHRISTOPHER GThe overall experience was very disappointing. The location was difficult to find, which was frustrating from the start. Once I finally arrived, the pickup process was straightforward and the instructions were clear — that part was fine. However, the real issue came when I tried to extend my rental because I couldn’t return the truck on time. When I called, I was told I wasn’t allowed to extend. I explained that I had a car full of items and needed just a little extra time, but was still refused. I had to call a second time because we were running behind, and only then was someone finally able to help. Even so, I was charged for an entire extra day’s rate, which made no sense since the rental was advertised as a one-day price. If I’m paying for a “one-day” rental, there should be some flexibility for extending by a few hours without being charged for another full day. Overall, this was an unpleasant and stressful experience. I would not recommend this location and will not be using their services again.
