So I made a reservation the night before. The next morning, I was running late. The website claimed that if you signed up for an account, you could rent the truck thru a phone app and never get held up in a line - never have to talk to a person at all. I knew it couldn't be true, but on this occasion, I was praying that it was true. And guess what? It was true. This is the slickest implementation of a web app that really, usefully takes the hassle out of renting a truck. I snapped a couple of cell phone pics of the odometer and gas gauge and off I went - in less than 10 minutes. Kudos to the web team that made this app soooo smooth and so very useful. Now, about the trucks. They have improved that immensely too. I got the biggest - the 26-footer and anyone can drive it. The only thing you have to be careful about is you forget you are not in your usual car, so you have to be careful going around sharp corners. But, hey, I did it and didn't hit anything. The truck was comfy, clean, got 8.8 mpg and road like a dream. I'm considering taking it 300 miles to pick up the contents of a storage shed and bring it back. All around - good job, UHaul.

I reserved my uhaul online and picked this location. I tried to reach out to location multiple times to confirm my reservation. I was informed they didn't have time for that. It was a towing company. I was only allowed to pick up uhaul at one specific time that day that suited the owner! When I arrived he informed me he didn't have my reservation and uhaul had reserved mine at another location since he didn't have that size and uhaul was supposed to call me. Owner of location did contact uhaul and fix it so I cld get my uhaul as I reserved. But I didn't like the fact that I was imposing on the towing company as he didn't have time to deal with uhaul rentals which was said multiple times during my visit
