There was a big mixup. We booked online and were supposed to pick up the truck remotely. Unfortunately, the app said that there was a problem and to call support. Support said that the truck was not set up for remote access but we had to go inside and the location was only open at 10. It was 9:30-ish when I was supposed to pick up and I had people waiting for me to pick them up with the truck to go get a fridge. The support team didn't know that the business was closed on Saturday and so this would have been impossible. After several calls back and forth with the business and support, the business owner walked me through how to access the key. I was not supposed to be charged for insurance as I specifically advised that when ordering but I was so we will be disputing that if not voluntarily reversed. There needs to be better communication between your stores and your office. I finally got access to the vehicle 70 minutes after I was supposed to. Don't you have a policy where you are paying customers $50 the vehicle isn't ready? I thought I read that somewhere. The store owner tried to help and eventually got me the truck but everyone should have coordinated and communicated better so it would have been a smooth transaction. Definitely would not recommend the location for a Saturday pickup. I have to give a negative review to the location because that is how the questions are worded but it wasn't their fault, it was head office's that this happened.

Had to go to two different locations for my reservation. Had to shovel a feet of snow all around the van . And clean the van from the pileup of snow
karan mThis was not the original pickup/dropoff location. U haul cancelled my initial reservation without informing me a day before the day of use. Customer service is also difficult to reach. Despite all this, they managed to find me an alternative that is fairly close to my location.
Patrick EVery professional and helpful owner - his service was excelllent.. However the overall experience has one negative. The self check in process is slow and cumbersome - lock was sticky, server was slow and it took 30 min to get going. That said I am a loyal U hauler still.
LESTER Lno equipment was given on site as we requested and paid for (no dolly or moving pads, which made our move very difficult) and lockbox was not easy to open. lockbox could be a user error though. truck was easy to find and navigate. truck was clean but smelled like dog/cat fur which was a bit frustrating to drive in (both my partner and I have allergies) and the horn didn’t work which is a safety issue
