The truck I received had definitely been in several accidents and the driver door was damaged and harder than normal to close. The gentlemen Tim who checked me in was courteous and went out of his way to be polite. However the original paper for check out showed the truck had 1/2 a tank of gas. I had to go back in the store and have him come out to look at the gas gauge and remark the paper; he should have checked the truck when handing off to me and not assumed the gas level. I also think the door on the truck should be fixed before renting out.On return the gentleman on duty said to just leave the truck parked that I would be charged correctly that I didn't need to do anything. But when the billing went through I was charged for $12 in gas. I had only driven a total of 12 miles and I had put $7 of gas in the tank at the Exon directly next to the U-Hall store. I had to call Tim back 2 days later and request a refund when I saw my bill. Lack of communication between attendants. I will still recommend people to U-Hall.

All went well and Afaf was extremely professional until we were back returning the truck. Marvin, your lot attendant was very hostile for no apparent reason. He saw two wood palettes in the car and quite rudely asked us to remove it. We did and asked him if we could put it in the trash area, he said no. There were few men hanging around the lot looking, i suppose for work. They were kind enough to help us with the palettes and took them out of the UHaul area. As we went in to finish the paperwork, Marvin kept on asking us to remove them, when I told him they were out of the property, he said and I quote:" I know, smart ass". When I asked; Excuse me, what did you just say, he repeated the offense, slower this time so the words can sink in. obviously this behavior is not justifiable in any kind of situation notwithstanding the fact that I did not do anything to deserve it. I will not return to Uhaul no matter what the temptation is, respect and dignity of all is a core feature of any business. Good luck with such staff!

My original reservation was for a truck pick-up outside of normal business hours. I booked the reservation online, and on the day of the pick-up, I called the store to confirm the pick-up details. The Uhaul employee assured me that there would be no hassle, once I came to pick up the truck, I would need to follow the Uhaul application instructions and would be able to drive away without a problem. This is only hours before the reservation. I even added a dolly, which was added to the reservation. But when I came to pick the truck up (mind you - this location isn't exactly close to my house or convenient, so it wasn't a quick trip), the application showed that no truck had been assigned to my reservation. I called Uhaul support 5 or 6 times, each person either hanging up on me or routing me back to the main line and saying I needed to talk to the other department (reservations or existing reservation support). Eventually I gave up, and modified my reservation to pick up the truck the following day, when someone would be at the location to facilitate the pickup. Moving, as you know is very stressful, and adding this mixup to the situation definitely did not help, especially when I did everything I should've to avoid any mishaps. Nothing was offered (barely even an apology) for the inconvenience caused.

Truck was falling apart, did not sound safe nor in working order. As a result, I suspect extremely poor gas mile. Went 10 miles in total, a quarter tank gone. Come on now. The location is filled with peope looking for work, a like out the door becuse only 1 person working.



The utility dolly was rusted, but other than that, everything was great. He was really fast and explained everything.
