I ordered a utility dolly be included with my van rental. It was supposed to be in my vehicle when I picked it up. It wasn't. Thankfully I don't live far from the store location because the only remedy was to go get it or take it off my order. We really needed that dolly. I don't think it's fair that a customer has to add another back and forth drive because staff did not fulfill the order.

The wait time to pick up was ridiculous; there was one person for what ended up being 10 people in line. I was also charged extra for an item I didn't end up needing, despite being told that it would be taken off the rental.

The location had bad smell inside. When I asked for receipt at the end, the guy was very pessimistic toward it and gave a rude reply that it will be sent to email. Even when I wanted to confirm some deets about rental before hand, person behind the desk was very uninterested in helping me and was quite unfriendly. Deff not the UHaul experience i was expecting considering I have taken many UHAUL before from different locations.

The personnel at the store were a bit rude. I was informed I could return the u haul to the same location but after returning during after hours and going over the online check in, there was no drop key box. After calling customer care I was informed that the location has no drop off box and does not do any after hour return. Also,The after work hour return can be made more user friendly with just a few clicks if possible.

After site overbooked a number of customers, this store saved the day by being aware of this problem and having a backup truck available in case customers lost reservations. They quickly provided me with a truck and assistance, turning around the damage done by the U-Haul website and customer service scheduling.

Despite system issue that had my reservation changed from 9:30AM to 4:30PM which was later fixed when I cantacted customer service online. Afaf, the store rep, was of atmost service satisfaction and I give her a big 5 star. thank you Afaf

the staff was very unprofessional and aggressive. My truck was reserved via the corporate account and yet the branch would call me directly threatening to charge me for additional days do to a misunderstand between the two corporate offices. very unprofessional.

I am assuming that the amount that was on hold in my checking account will be released in the next days, as additional lesser charges were also charged to the same checking account after I turned the van in. Also, you have to come up with a better way to authenticate the renter each time instead of reviewing my location, pic and DL. Most places do this only once and then rely on the iPhone fingerprint ID for subsequent ID.

I showed up and was told I wasn't going to be able to get a truck because I reserved online. I had to wait to be serviced. The worker on 6/23 was disrespectful and gave the truck to another person before trying to figure out the issue. The manager, however, was very helpful and nice and got it all taken care of in the end.

I have been renting from U-Haul for the more than 20 years. I have never been treated like this before. I came to pick up my truck from Columbia Pick location. I asked Thimothy Thomas who was helping me if I could also rent utility Dolly and furniture dolly. He said he was out of furniture dolly. I looked over my shoulder and see about 6 furniture Dollies setting behind me, some new some used. I asked him again "are you sure you don't have furniture Dollies". He looked at me and said "DO I REALLY HAVE TO ANSWER THIS AGAIN" in a very rude Manor. I was stun by his reply. I ask him "why are giving me an attitude" he replied "I AM NOT I AM TALKING TO WITH A SMILE" then he showed me his teeth for a brief second. I told him now you are being sarcastic. His reply was " I AM THE GM OF THIS STORE I CAN CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION RIGHT NOW DO YOU WANT ME TO CANCEL IT?". Again I am in shock so I didn't want to loose my cool. I took a deep breath and ask him "why would you cancel my confirm reservation? "He said "YOU ARE GIVEN ME AN ATTITUDE" now he is using what I said to him. I told him if he doesn't want to rent me Dolly that's fine I want to take my reservation. He asked me how many miles I will drive the truck. I told him I don't know. He just went off on me. He said " YOUR RESERVATION IS CANCELLED. YOU CAN LEAVE THE STORE NOW. I AM NOT RENTING TO YOU. I said to him in less than 3 minutes conversation you cancelled my confirm reservation twice. What is wrong with you? He said " I AM THE STORE MANAGER AND I CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION IF I WANT." At this point I am speechless. I said if you want me to guess 10 miles. He handed me a contact to sign. He said to the other employee named James to bring my truck around. I cam out side James brought my truck and I asked James " is he always like this?" He smiled and said "you got one of his bad day" I told him I really need utility & Furniture dolly boxes. He won't rent to me. He pointed to 8-9 dollies setting there. We have them I don't know why he won't rent to you. I told James "I am not going back in there. Can you please go inside and talk to him if I can rent a dolly. He went inside of course Mr. Thomas had to leave the line of people waiting to pick their truck to come out side to yell at me " I ALREADY TOLD HIM THOSE ARE RESERVED & I AM NOT RENTING TO HIM". I didn't want to hear any more verbal abuse from this guy and turned around went to the truck. I have 4 businesses and after college I was designated trainee to teach Marriott employees how to deal with difficult & unreasonable customers. If this was someone else would have easily lost it with this guy. I can not see how he got appointed to be the GM of the store with his mintal capacity, is beyond me. He never asked me if I wanted to add insurance, but he added it anyway to my bill. maybe he is good at his work he starts screaming and yelling at customers and then customers are upset and angry he slips the insurance without asking them.

Wait time at this location is excessive. This location is understaffed and the staff on hand are overwhelmed. It took approximately 35 minutes of waiting in line to finally be able to check out. All in all, the whole process to approximately 45 minutes. This is the second time we have used this facility, but it will be the last.

There was only 1 person helping a long line of clients. I scheduled my pick up at 9am and the representative helped me at 9.30am because if the long line however he told me I had to return the van by 1pm the contract was for 4 hours and I got charged for the 4 hours. My first time using this company and was not the best experience.
