There were about 6 day workers that rushed me as I arrived in the parking lot, offering to help me move using their own truck. I had to tell them to back off repeatedly. The $1 per mile on our short term rental was userous and should be reconsidered.

This was a terrible moving experience and I will never again rent from this UHaul or any other one...it would be better to try your hand at a Penske or anything else for that matter. Store employees are unprofessional, implying that it is your fault if things aren't what they seem. It is downright shameful that UHaul continues practice shady business to nickel and dime the average customer. The average customer loses out because he/she gets SWINDLED. Any potential customer should know that UHaul is overbooking rentals in order to prey on the average American's honest, well-earned wages and collect more fees for its corporate structure. The equipment works fine, but is it worth this stress, fraudulence, and money lost? I had reserved a cargo van for 1 day (quoted the daily rate of $95 + mileage), but when I picked up the van at 5pm, I was told I had to promptly return it at 9am the next day (which is ONLY 16 hours) because I had "rented" the van for 4 hours. I was actually told that I was getting a great deal since the store closed at 7pm and they were giving me all this time extra until the store opened at 9am the next day. NO-I needed a whole day because I was moving stuff from another city and back, hence the 1 day rental when I made the reservation. I called to see if I could possibly extend the time on the van (and I was willingly to pay for it), but I was told that it was booked and if I were to return this late, I would be charged hefty late fees. The woman on the phone was very defensive and not at all helpful. So, of course, I had to do a late night/pre-dawn move-out in order to make this 9AM rental return. When I returned the rental ON TIME, the audacity of UHaul to then charge me for TWO days is just beyond me (even though I was quoted for ONE day upon confirming the reservation and then was told I could only have the rental for FOUR hours upon pick-up). I am now disputing these charges and contacting customer service nonstop. Beware of all their FALSE advertising and always check your receipts. UHaul is doing everything it can to steal money away from unassuming customers.

Show on your website that late-night dropoff is not available. It was extremely inconvenient for me to not have this opportunity, and I am very unhappy with the website's suggestion that I could drop it off.

While the location (in terms of geography) was average, the customer service was great. The team working at the office can be easily described as very well organized, professional, and genuinely friendly. My paper work was processed in minutes when I checked out the vehicle and I was soon going through the checklist (mileage / fuel) with a patient member of the team (I was nervous. He was not. That made me less nervous). When I arrived at the agreed time the paper work / receipt was waiting for me and I was on my way in no time. I would definitely recommend this office because of the excellent customer service.

Your location opened late and while I was near the front of the line there were around 20 people who came behind me. The guy at the computer who logged us in rushed us and didn't bother explaining the fees, and I was shocked to learn about the insurance fee. He barely said two words to us and I didn't have time to dispute it then since the movers I hired were on the clock. I plan to dispute the charge and ask for the $14 to be refunded.

There has got to be better communication between the U-Haul staff and the corporate office. THe store had no record til I gave the conf. number and the mechanic was not available so had to delay l day. The 2nd day, the mechanic was called in so I waited til he arrived. The staff is friendly, got my tow package & trailer and got the job done.

To Whom It May Concern, Per our contractual agreement and transaction on 05.17.16 I paid for the rendering of movers and the equipment, a van. I electronically signed the agreement which substantiate the execution between Uhaul and myself for the said product offerings, a moving van and movers. An amount was taken out of my account for this transaction. Today I contacted Uhaul via chat and phone as my moving date is approaching 05.20.16. Uhaul provided the worst customers service; Not only was I disconnected during my conversation with a customer service rep and hang up on 6 times. Uhaul refused to take any responsibility for the issue that needs to be resolved. The issue being, I have no contact information for the movers I ordered. The movers did not contact me and my moving date is approaching. It is unacceptable that your representative at the 1-800- number not only interrupted me during my conversation but also deflected any responsibility for the flawed transaction. 1. My transaction is with Uhaul, 2. I purchased moving help via Uhaul online 3., The transaction was executed by my electronic signature and the payment of the products and services. Uhaul needs to resolve the problem and the time I already spend on this issue which has been two hours. Based upon my annual income my hourly rate is $120.

I apologize for bein abrupt with the staff. They did remove about a $10 fuel addition. I drove a Ram Pickup 19 miles. I replaced a gallon and a half of fuel. There was no way I could be short $10 of fuel. I had my receipt from the service station.

Vehicles should NEVER be rented out with less than a full tank of gas. We got our rental van with a quarter tank of gas and it's always hard to fill it up to a quarter tank. It's so much easier and customer-friendly to get a full tank and then just top up the tank before returning the vehicle. They do this quarter tank trick in Mexico and it's a rip-off!!

I rented a van and it was in new condition. I drive a small car and found the wide mirrors and rear view camera to be very helpful.
