Ok place. They had the equipment ready. Just had to wait for staff, but they did offer doughnuts while we waited.

The process was fast, and they had the truck was ready upon arrival. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Dropping off was a breeze, as they had a drop of box.

My experience was awful from Uhaul and from the place that I picked and dropped off the equipment to. I filled out the form online several weeks back to reserve my rental. My price came out to $45.90 plus tax - this was including the $14.95 for 2 days and $16.00 SafeTow. I received a phone call several days later telling me that the place I requested cannot give me the rental and I'd have to go to another location they provided. This is understandable, no issues there. The morning I went to pick up my rental, I arrived at the place they sent me to and they pulled my stuff up on the computer and started my checkout process. Firstly, they explained that my rental was due back Monday morning. I said well today is Saturday and I only scheduled it for two days, so I'll have it returned Sunday afternoon, I don't want to get charged for a 3rd day if I don't need it. The lady at the desk said that they are closed on Sunday and I would have to return it Monday and her boss at that time told her she cannot say that, we don't need to know they are closed on Sunday and then mumbled something extra to her. So now it's bill time, and it nearly doubled, they asked for $78 and some cents. I said I'm sorry, but can you explain the bill to me? The numbers are not the same as what I was given online during reservation. The lady wouldn't give me the specifics, she said it's for the trailer rental and the SafeTow. I offered to show them my reservation on my phone, I had it in the email and they refused to look. I said ok thank you, but I am not going to pay almost double without knowing why and asked them to cancel. When I got home, I called Uhual and explained my situation. The fist person I spoke with confirmed for me that I should have paid $45.90 plus tax and didn't know why they wanted me to pay $78. I said I'd like to still pick up a rental today, as I am in an urgent situation and need a trailer for today, I am willing to drive further out to pick one up, that is not an issue. She passed me along to someone else who could help schedule a new pick up. This second person had me hold while she got on the phone to talk to the place I went to. When she got back on the line she said that they were charging me $18.95 a day, were also charging me for the day they were closed (so 3 days instead of 2) and then there was additional charges that she didn't even know what they were for. She said that everything is taken care of and that I can go back to the same place and pick up my rental. I thanked the lady for her help and asked her if she could tell me what I will be expected to pay when I get out there. This is where she got really rude and said to me that she has another 100 calls more important than this one and hung up on me. Moments later I received a phone call from a very nice lady, who I believe was the field agent for this area and had me explain all of this to her all over again. I was eventually asked to go back to the place to pick up the rental. The

we found out during the time it was rented that the trailer had an expired plate, license sticker had expired in 2/2017 and not renewed.

The person working in the rental office couldn't operate the (new) program on the computer provided by U-Haul. I had to help him and he still had a very difficult time, it took about 20-30 minutes to get checked out and I was the only customer.

I hate to leave a poor review, but honestly with as often as I've rented a Uhaul, this was completely unsatisfactory. Starting with check in, the Uhaul rep was rude and seemingly unfamiliar with the process of a one way move and the convenient pre-check in system offered online. I filled out all the paperwork online and only needed to pay. The representative seeing my Michigan license attempted to change my drop of location from Virginia to Michigan. I explained to him that wouldn't work, I am moving to Virginia. He rudely argued that he had to put Michigan on it because I have a Michigan license. Clearly that doesn't make any sense, my license state has no bearing on where I'm driving the truck. During this exchange, a customer called and he was also rude to them on the phone. Finally, he came to the realization that he was wrong in changing my drop off location, changed it, and gave me the keys. There was no inspection/walk around, and I realized the inside of the cab was covered in mud. At that point, given my timeline, I couldn't waste anymore time arguing with the representative. Needless to say, I'd avoid using this location in the future.
