An awning over the lock box. It was pouring rain as I struggled with the lock. Lock had to be pried open with hands- not sure if it was rusted or just needed oiled.

The truck was extremely clean, and the lady at the desk was extremely nice over the phone. However, I didn't receive much assistance or instructions with how to complete checking the truck out, and using the uhaul app. I also didn't receive the utility dolly that I ordered with the truck. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it took more time and trouble than it should've. In the end, everything worked out.
Chris FKeep being nice and kind to people.
LARRY WThe young lady at the desk was great! Helpful, knowledgable, and friendly.
LISA GThe pickup location was fine. I'd recommend them. But, I'm not sure if I would recommend U-Haul to anyone else. I picked up and paid for the 15-foot truck. But, a relative was going to drive it for me from Kentucky back home in North-East Indiana. So we needed to add him as another driver. The problem was that this person was still in Indiana and not scheduled to arrive till the next day. I called the pickup location the next day after my relative arrived in Owenton. I was informed however that they could not add another driver and they gave me a phone number at U-Haul to call. Which I did. And was bounced from person to person three or four times to finally find someone who could add another driver. That third or fourth person was fine and solved my problem. It was solved only because my relative had a smartphone. I do not. I have a dumb flip (clamshell) phone. If my relative had not had a smart phone, to receive a text from the final customer rep, install an app, and verify his information, I wouldn't have been able to add him as a driver. So, please give some thought as to how to have folks without a smartphone and/or internet connection, add/change drivers. We were moving our daughters family back home to Indiana and everything (internet) had been disconnected.
