Address was wrong on receipt. We had to hunt for the place. It was late. We were tired. It took a lot of time. When we finally found drop off location it was dark, no lighting and a less desirable neighborhood. We were charged an additional 80 for charges I was not aware of.

The owner of the shop texted me and told me to drop it off at a different location. Which was fine because it was right around the corner but unprofessional. The location also was not very inviting.

To whom it may concern. I have rated this location poorly, but it is more a reflection of UHaul than the location. I reserved my trailer online several days in advance of my pickup date. 2 days before I was due to pick up the trailer at location in Carthage, Missouri, I received an email and a phone call notifying me that the trailer that I requested was not available at the Carthage location and that I would need to pickup the trailer at 'Discount Smokes and Liquor' in Webb City, Missouri. I called this location on Friday and confirmed that the trailer was there and available and they confirmed it was indeed there and that the blankets I had also ordered would be there by the time of my pickup. I got to the 'Discount Smokes' location promptly at 11am and told the clerk I was there to pick up the trailer. He was friendly and promptly started the paper work. First, he asked for my CC and ID which I didn't find odd, but it was at this point that problems began. First off, he was the only clerk in a very busy liquor store mid-Saturday. He constantly had to stop what he was doing to ring up another customer. This happened every 3 or 4 minutes and would take several minutes as a queue would form. He continued working on my reservation and trying to run my CC. He indicated to me that he was having trouble processing my reservation and that their location had only begun offering UHaul earlier that week or the week before. He called the UHaul tech support and began going over the process with a customer service rep from on the other end. This discussion then resulted in me needing to provide another contact person in order to confirm the legitimacy of my rental. The clerk explained that the CSR on the phone said I would need to provide another contact number since I was renting and returning the trailer in different states. I found this completely odd since I made that fact very clear in my online reservation. Moreover, all they wanted to do is call my alternate contact and confirm...confirm what? I gave them my wife's cell phone, and they called her and confirmed. What? I have NO idea what type of security tactic that was but it was dubious at best. Between the call with UHaul CSR, the constant flow of other customers and the clerk's issues with the UHaul reservation system, my visit to 'DISCOUNT SMOKES AND LIQUORS' of WEBB CITY, MISSOURI took over AN HOUR! AND I MADE RESERVATIONS! WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT OF THE RESERVATIONS IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN ONCE GO TO PICK UP? Since he was the only clerk working, and had to stay behind the register, he was not able to help me with the trailer or anything else. I can't believe it, I could have been driving a 1986 Yugo with a 1 7/8 ball bumper hitch and no one would have been the wiser. The trailer I reserved was the biggest UHaul offers (6x12) and there was nothing other than the 'good faith' questioning during the online reservation that vets the renter's vehi
