The truck showed signs of rat or mouse infestation and reeked of rodent urine. The check engine and traction control lights went off and we returned the truck early because we were grossed out and afraid to drive it anymore. The contracts were signed in someone's car, and not in a building. We received a phone call on the way to picking up the truck 10:01, our scheduled ready time was 10:00, asking when we would be there. Because he was already there waiting for us. I guess he doesn't get to use the inside of the building? I certainly will not be renting from this location again. The truck was awful and the whole situation felt VERY sketchy.
Was called the night before and told no one would be available at my appointment timeslot and had to move it up 30 min. Not a massive deal by itself but that wasn't the only setback. A tire was extremely low. I had to drive around to get it fixed up just so I could get situated. I also had to clean out the cab so I didn't get charged as it looked like a hurricane went through it. I was and hour and a half behind schedule due to the pickup change and tire. Cleaning out the cab was at the end of the trip but still was a pain. Could have at least vacuumed up the last person's mess before handing it off to me.. All the little things add up when you are already stressed.

I've been charged for an additional day. Requested refund, still do not have it! First truck I rented took almost an hour to return due to the guys staff not showling up to work so he was too busy working the cash register for the convenience store!!!

I made a reservation for a trailer at a location and a couple days before I was told that it wasn't available and was told I would have to find a different location to reserve the trailer. I was forced to do the job you guys were supposed to do and I was told I was able to reserve a trailer they didn't even have available to lend out.
The Uhaul had leaks in the trailer and the cab area. We had to move in rainy weather. All of our boxes got very wet, and some items were impacted. Also, the passenger got completely drenched. We were highly disappointed.
Inform customers when a drop-off location is not available and provide them with an opportunity to choose another one. Also, do not allow overnight drop-offs at locations that were not pre-scheduled. We were scheduled to drop off our Uhaul at a particular location, but when we arrived we were informed that they did not have the space or capacity for another 26' Super Mover. We then called the Uhaul help desk and were informed that it was not functioning properly and needed to call back at a later time. This was a bit frustrating as we were seeking to abide by our contract and return our Uhaul to the proper location before our deadline.
Not really this locations problem. But I had a uhaul dealer about 4 miles from where I was moving and in between the old house and new house but had to drive 30 minutes each way because they didn't have any trucks. So basically I lost time and had to pay more In mileage. But if I was closer to this location I would use them again.

Truck wasn't as clean as some that i have rented before. Wasn't bad, that is the only reason i don't rate excellent. Dave the employee i dealt with was nice and polite. I would recommend this location.
Needed the uhaul for 6am, but it wasn't available until 9am. We arrived at 9, but the uhaul hadn't been checked in yet, so we left the store by 9:45. The stuff was super friendly and helpful, but the delay was frustrating and resulted in us working in mid day heat versus being done with the move.
This was an excellent experience. Great communication throughout, friendly people, and great customer service. We could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you!
The guy there, it's a gas station with a crappy office in back room, was supposed to be there at 9 am. We were on a pretty tight schedule so when he didn't show until 930, we were pretty irritated. Not much apology, just excuses. He spent more time talking to ladies at the counter and some random guy who came in than getting us set up. If you have any schedule to keep, go somewhere else.
It was easy. I handed them a key and left.
Dave was fabulous! I will definitely return to and recommend the Gardner, KS location.
