Brian GI asked for a receipt and was directed to the office upstairs. When I got to the office the fellow there took out his phone and told me he had something to discuss with me. He proceeded to show me a picture of a bug spattered section of the truck above the windshield. He said I had returned the truck dirty. I was honestly incredulous. We had just completed a nine hour drive, returned the truck two days early, and I was being chastised for bugs on the truck! I asked him what he expected me to do about that. I couldn't even fully reach the windshield to wash it and he expected me to clean the bugs off the truck above that? I asked him if I was supposed to take it to a truck wash before returning it and he didn't have an answer. He said something about me checking my U-Haul contract regarding cleanliness. To clarify, the inside of the truck was immaculate when I picked it up and when it was returned. He told me he wasn't going to charge me for returning it dirty. I would guess not, I cannot even believe it was a point of discussion. I must admit, after a big move and a long drive, it was a very unfortunate way to end the trip.
