This is the single worst U-Haul experience I have ever I had. I did everything as instructed (I took pictures marking where I parked which was legal, the time in which I returned the keys, the equal fuel level, and showed there were no new damages), I agreed to the original charge, and then they doubled it for reasons that were completely falsified. This scam is going to prevent me from eating this month and/ or damage my credit depending on which route I choose. I am in between jobs, I moved to take this new job and U-Haul was the single worst mistake I could’ve made in terms of trying to help myself. I tell people every single day not to use U-Haul because it is inherently a scam especially in big cities. I will continue going back in forth trying to get this charge amended so that I won’t be destitute as I wait another month for a paycheck to grace my account. Never use U-Haul, never go to this location, they will not help you and they are one of the greediest companies I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with.
