We began our odyssey with a reservation in Soquel that was a complete farce. When we went to get our truck, we were told there were no trucks at all.... not for miles around. We had to drive to Greenfield (2. 5 roundtrip) where, yes, the employee was very nice, but our overall experience was deeply disappointing. I would not recommend UHAUL (as a company) to any friend. Everybody associated with UHAUL to whom we spoke during our numerous phone calls agreed that UHAUL overbooks, with little regard for the trouble it causes customers. Bleh.

Need to provide "cruise control" in these trucks. Would make long drives easier and keep speed at recommended rate.

Have some gas in the tank for us to get to a gas station! We got the truck with barely a quarter tank of gas and were not near a gas station. We had to drive 55 miles to get the truck, then fill it with gas, then get back to start moving. Wasted about 3.5 hours to do all this before we could even get started with loading Very inconvenient, time consuming, and frustrating

My uhaul text message said to pick up the auto transport at noon, however, the pickup location closed at noon. I was inconvenienced and had to pick up the transport the next day.

Recently rented a truck from this location. The general attitude and service was poor and unfriendly. When I left a message, they called back saying they are just returning the call, indicating that they did not even listen to my message. I returned the truck as instructed. I put the fuel in which was 3/4 and left the truck in one of their parking space. Then I left the key in the box. I made sure and checked everything was in good order. I also took a photograph of the mileage and fuel gauge just in case. I am glad I to have done this because I just saw the receipt and it says 11/16 tank full, one gauge lower than the actual reading. I sent U-haul an email. Let's see how they respond.
