Great and very fast service !!


It was an okay experience. The app was cumbersome and the folks at the location do not answer the phone, have a full voicemail and do not respond to the call back number request. It was a bit of a leap of faith but it got done so I guess that is what is important.


This location bad,i just drive only 37 km after i fuel 15 $_on gas , they charged me more over 12 $ more for fucking meter gas , do you guy think 37km with van cargo that too expensive, i think the van meter something wrong, and this location not so well for vehicle,never go back to this shit uhaul

Our truck was two hours late. The person that we spoke to was going to look into whether we were able to get a discount for this, however we never heard from him and were charged the full amount. Further, there was limited conversation between uhaul and the location as I received 4 phone calls within these two hours, telling me different things. It felt a bit disorganized.

I didn't like picking up the van from an alley behind the store. The van was dirty when I picked it up and the only way I found to really report it would have charged me the cleaning fee when I didn't make the mess. The parking brake was broken. Using the website to pickup and drop off equipment is cumbersome and time consuming.

I realized Hamilton branches don't have dolly any more. It would be more convenient to provide them again. They were really helpful.

It would be helpful to know that there are vehicles parked out back!!! Also - the app is quite frustrating to use for drop off. Please make it more user friendly. Less captcha and location services should be something you type in. Not gps from your phone. Super annoying!!


Did not provide the dolly that was reserved and made moving very difficult.

I ordered a furniture dolly to go with the van. At pickup, was told it had been taken off my bill because there was not one available. I don't believe I was told about this beforehand. I would have wanted to know because we were moving heavy furniture and we had to arrange another dolly ourselves quickly (not through U-haul).

I called 3 days in a row to speak with Syed and left messages with contact information. I still have not heard from him. This probably resulted in not being able to get the day and time I wanted. Extremely unprofessional. I did eventually call the 1-800 number and got a truck booked with NO thanks yo Syed Also, user prior did not sweep truck out Other than that, it was a seamless rental and would recommend this location.

A sign saying key return inside the store would be useful. I had to guess it was inside and that I had to speak to the clerk

there was... - what seemed like dry blood droplet(s) on the dash board - mud all over the floor inside the cabin - The employees were rude and disrespectful - - did not have the mattress covers i ordered and paid for a week or 2 in advance, this resulted in my mattresses getting damaged. When asked what to do, i was told to drive a few km in the opposite direction in order to get them... - The owner said he refuses to go inside the car and clean it, because its "against protocol", I then asked him if he ever cleans the car and he said no. Then i asked if he has been sanitizing it between customers during this pandemic. He said no. This is ridiculous. I have lost my mother to cancer 3 years ago and I was moving back to my family home with my brother to help care for my father who is old and immunocompromised. I lost one parent already and the thought of losing another is outrageous. If he had said: "please sanitize the vehicle before & after use" that makes complete sense, and letting me know I am responsible for it. As the customer I want to be able to use products and know i am safe, there was no warning that the vehicle is never cleaned, no information, absolutely nothing. The entire experience was horrendous, i wont be using this service, from this location ever again. I have already shared this story, hopefully the location is closed. The reason my letter is so long is because of how rude, standoffish, disrespectful the employees there were. And disgusting shape of the vehicle itself. Please get back to me to speak more in depth about it.

The mobile pick up was a total disaster!!! It didn't happen in the end...after an hour of trying. I would never rely on that again...terrible service!

We came to pickup the truck and it had snowed the night before, truck was covered with snow and ice, we didn't bring an ice scraper because we didn't figure we would need it, then we had to fight with the guy working to give us something to use to clean to the truck off, he just kept saying “has nothing to do with us not my problem”, very un-professional

Your phone-centered check-in was cumbersome, complex, and time-consuming. Very good for U-Haul corporate, very very bad for the customer. Staff was helpful, but I'll seek out a different rental next time.
