The Gentleman at the store was more than helpful and patient during the unnecessary inconvenient delay due to the very slow server, we called customer service and was told to be patient as everyone was experiencing the same problem. My wife and I were well over an hour late as we stood in the store for 50-55 minutes waiting for the service we expected to be professional and convenient which was a disappointment and resulted in us being an hour and 20 minutes late to the location we needed to be due to the extremely poor online service! This resulted in an extra hour charge with the movers waiting onsite that had other customers scheduled after our move was completed. Myself having experience in customer service and server/ systems management with warehouse inventory spread out over 28 warehouse operations Across the Hamilton and GTA areas, it is a must that all servers and systems are always running 100 % sufficient capacity .. Having all U-Haul locations and all independent locations running all on the same server is an absolutely poor unreliable system and service for anyone that has to struggle with it. The inconvenience to all the customers expecting convenient service never mind all the money loss to unnecessary labour throughout every single U-Haul location. This is a very costly issue that results in poor customer service and effecting productivity levels throughout the entire company. Unfortunately due to the way I was told to be patient because of the issues the company was experiencing was unprofessional. I would highly recommend having I.T. Prioritize this matter and find a reliable system that improves customer service and keeps all productivity levels moving smoothly in the future….. My question is, I would like to know who to contact regarding the $80 hour wait charge I had cover due to this avoidable problem???

Paula BI have documented the many issues I had with this location and poor unprofessional service. I booked with my regular UHaul location. Never had an issue. A few days before my pick - UHAUL called and asked would I be willing to go to another location for pickup. They said they were trying to give the second location some business. I agreed thinking my experience would be similar. I was not! Please read the file that was sent to the man agent team on Feb 5th. Way too much to list here.
Nick CThe truck was covered in snow and the sidewalk where the truck was parked had not been shovelled. We did not receive the appliance dolly that was requested. The attendant gave us a very small dolly which was of no use. When I returned the truck, the attendant asked if zi filled the gas tank. I told him it was filled to half capacity which is the way we returned the truck. He made a comment about the gas needed to be filled and extra charges could apply. I also noticed on my receipt that I was charged the $10 fee for pads which I hadn't requested nor did we receive them. This is a newer location but the service was not close to being good.
