I had to drive 40 min to pick up a car hauler. It would have been nice to have one available at my nearest u haul dealer which is 10 min drive from my home.

stay away from Uhaul in general there service is disgusting and they don't give you anything you ask for especially when it comes to time they don't have enough trailers for everything. I ordered a 6 by 12 trailer and because of the inconvience of their timing to pick it up got stuck with a 5 by 9 trailer which didn't much of my belongs cost me an extra $80 for my landlord to go and get it I was disgusted by the service I got.

The attendant did not help hook up the trailer nor did he help unhook. He just stood there and watched. Very lazy!!!!! This is not the first time this has happened at this location. We have rented from there 3 times in the last 6 months and each time, we have virtually no help. Even the person inside filling out our paperwork did not know what they were doing.

I had reserved a trailer and confirmed it at 370 LORNE ST, SUDBURY,ON P3C4R2. there was no trailer. I had to go 36 km out of town to pick one up and then drop it off in Hanmer, Almost in Capreol. We were offered a 10$ discount but this was an extra 2 hours added to our work schedule. The trailer also had dirt in it, actual garden dirt. We swept it out but the floor actually needs a wash. I would however like to reserve a trailer again for Friday the 3rd of March at 4pm to return Saturday, the 5th of March. A 6x12 tandem trailer in Sudbury would be greatly appreciated.

When I arrived at the Esso/UHaul in Hanmer, the employee Kyle was working alone. It was super busy. Gas purchases, convenient store purchases and my UHaul return. Kyle was running to serve all customers. Extremely impressed with his high level of professionalism! TNX!!!

I was told by this store they are not a 24 hr. dropoff, yet customer service straight at Uhaul told me they were.???..does the left hand know what the right hand is doing.???

Again,a real pro. Nothing but roses. This move went so smoothly from picking up to dropping off. The ramp extended right through the porch door,the house door,and right into the living room. It cut loading time in half. And all that for what I consider a bargain compared to using my truck and trailer and doing multiple loads.Will highly recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks!

I'm completely unsatisfied with my experience and will not use uhaul again. It was not the fault of this location but uhaul itself. I used the online booking to modify the size of my trailer and uhaul sent me an email confirming the change. I was left a voicemail from uhaul a few days before which i could barely understand as the person was completely inarticulate and spoke too quickly. I barely even understood it was uhaul calling. I called back and was told the pickup location was changed which was only slightly farther so I said ok. When my dad showed up to pick up the trailer they did not have it and told him he had to drive 35 minutes to get it. He drove all the way there and they didnt even have the right trailer. Terrible customer service.

Was not notified that pick up location had changed. No phone call, text or email. Prebooked while in advance . Had to drive 40 minutes out of my way to pick up unit. No paperwork ready, extra supplies not ready. Sorry, you dropped the ball on this one. I'm a repeat customer and dissatisifed this time.

We were late for our rental and I understand (now) that when you are over an hour late the truck can be made available for other's to rent. We travelled from Oakville to Hanmer to retrieve the truck and hit some traffic. The clerk when we arrived was very abrupt and instead of gently reminding us about how being late can cause us to lose the rental, he proceeded to say "You are an hour and a half late. I would have rented this truck out to the first customer who wanted it". And it was the manner in which he said it. It was crass at best. The entire reason I am renting this truck is not for a move.. My step mother and father passed away 7 weeks apart this year and I was up to remove the final items from the home as it closes at the end of the week. It was a hard enough day for me let alone being spoken to in such a manner. However, the second gentleman that served us was very polite. Essentially, I know this a remote office but you could treat your customers with a little more grace as you have no idea what circumstances are bringing them to require the rental of a truck. If we lost the truck because I didn't take the time to read the fine print, I would have had to deal with it in stride. And all that aside, the truck was still there available for us to rent.

We had reserved a trailer much closer to our home, but had to go pick up the trailer 40 mins away from home. The frustrating thing was that as we were driving to towards the place to pick it up, we passed two or three other U-Haul places, and all of them had trailers the size we needed. So we were not impressed that we had to go all the way to Hanmer, and then it took another 30-45 minutes to get the U-Haul and leave. So on our busy day, we wasted 1.5 hrs just get the U-Haul. Better communication is needed with the local dealers, even they told us that when we complained about having seen the same trailers at the other locations, but had been told there none closer.
