The entire process at the Henrietta location was seamless and easy. Your guy there, Ray, was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Everything was ready on time, and Ray was awesome. The only thing I would say is he needs some help at that location; it is extremely short-staffed.
This review is unfair as it is not the facility's fault but UHaul's logistics that my trailer was overbooked and my reservation cancelled leaving me in Rochester, NY 2 days later and after the day I was expected to move out. Quite an embarrassing business practice. UHaul is lucky it's the only game in town.
The staff seamed preoccupied with many other things both times I was there. Customer service was alright once I was talking with someone but they didn't seem to be wanting to work with me. I waited in the truck for about 20 minutes before going inside and they told me I could just go. Overall, great service and exactly what I needed, maybe additional staff during busy months to get better service? Will use again though!
Employee working the front desk had his mask down, also there were no signs saying masks were required for customers. I went in to get my rental and was told my business was not welcome and to leave immediately cause I didn't have a mask. The gentleman working was extremely rude. I do not plan to use uhaul in the future cause of this experience.
First, I had to wait in line for over 30 minutes just to pick up my truck, even though I checked in online. Second, my reservation that I made A MONTH EARLY wasn't fulfilled in it's entirety because they didn'y have enough dollies. Third, after checking out, I went to the truck they gave me saying it was on full for gas, and it only had 7/8 in the tank. I had to go back in to make them change it so I didn't have to give them gas that wasn't even in it when I got it. Then, when I returned it they just took the keys and never even looked at while I was there. Terrible place. Never again.
Paid for a guaranteed reservation only to wait five hours for it to never arrive, then was told I would have to drive forty minutes away in order to pick up another truck
For the second time in a row my equipment that I reserved well in advance was not ready for me to pick up mobilly and I was late for my appointment. Also, one of the workers either did not have his mask on or it was below his nose. When I returned my truck at 7:45 last night, the worker had already locked the doors even though closing wasn't until 8 pm.
Passenger side mirror was extremely loose and freely moved around. Almost caused a serious car accident while merging right.
Truck was not ready for mobile pick up at my scheduled time at 7:00am. That was very disappointing:(. I ended up getting it a half hour late
Hard to contact by phone,Vehicle would not stop brakes required to much pedal pressure and rear brakes were over compensating without load in vehicle,steering has over 2inches of play steering wheel was of angle steering response is delayed,front suspension is loose and hard to control over bumps in the road . I had thought it should be reported to the DMV but you should have a chance to repair it first
I made a reservation and checked in through the app and not only did I still end up waiting over an hour and 20 minutes to get my truck, you gave it away before I could get the keys!
Everyone was very polite and professional. However I ended up having to call four times to get my truck scheduled. The regional office and the location kept changing where I was supposed to pick up my truck. It was a huge cluster. Then there was only one person working at the U-Haul location when I went to pick up the truck. I had to stand in line for roughly a half hour where not everyone was wearing masks. Nothing really wrong with the employees. Just not a good system
Morning pick up experience was terrible, On site at 7:45 for 8:00 scheduled pick up. Did not get on the road until 9:15. Al least 9 customers waiting in long line to get to service counter. Only 1 person working on what must be the busiest time of the day and busiest day of the week.

I rented a 10 foot truck; was very hard to Move the seat Up or back. This is the second time with one of these. And I cannot figure out how to move the mirrors. Driver's side door needed to be slammed shut,
The person that did the paperwork when I pick it up had all the emotion of someone not wanting to be there. They charged me for furniture padding that I did not request. Also when I went back to get a refund, the same person was look my information up but did not no how to do a refund furthermore, said nothing to me that he needed help just let me stand there. Finally the supervisor came over to help. While I was waiting on that person, who did not no what they where doing, another worker came from the back talking in his ceil phone about how he has a hangover from last night drinking. What kind of place is UHaul running.

so I changed the pick up time for my reservation, and when I arrived this morning, the phone app thought I was still picking it up at the later time! I called Uhaul and spoke to a lovely young woman who said that my truck wasn't available because the other user hadn't returned it :( She promptly set me up with a moving van (instead of a pick up truck) and gave me the same price and mileage for the upgrade. Also, when I changed my pick up time, I inadvertently changed the pick up location (something renters need to pay attention to--it may give you the pick up place where the vehicle is available, and you may not realize you've opted for a different pick up location). Anyway, after I hung up with her and saw the text and new pick up spot: NOT where I was! I called back, and she set me up with a van at the location I was at. It only took a matter of minutes,and I was only 15 minutes late. It was excellent and wonderful service for what I thought would be a disaster in not being able to have a truck. Thank you, Uhaul!!
great and easy
First off the windshield was so dirty it was next to impossible to see, especially when driving into the sun. I had to stop and buy Windex to clean the windshield. Secondly the AC did not work, which made for a very uncomfortable ride on a 80+Â° day. I assumed that if an option was available it should be functioning. Everything should be opperable on the vehicle.
