The employee was not motivated and took nearly 30 minutes to get everything ready for the truck. There was a female pad stuck to the inside of the truck, dirt and grime all in the cab, old food and dog hair everywhere. Windshield was coated with something sticky that was nearly impossible to clean off. Trailer was not properly connected, chains were wrapped around the tongue, and some chains were not even secured properly. Highly disappointed with the quality of this truck

Owner of store very unpleasant and didn't seem to like to deal with uhaul. Said it wasn't worth his time.
As a former U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, I can say that Gary is excellent! He really helped us out, after finding ourselves in a pinch. We purchased something down the road that we planned to have delivered. However, the delivery truck broke down. So, we called Gary to rent a truck and he was able to rent us a reserved truck for an hour. Hildebran Shell, the location of this U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, is extremely busy. Gary was the only one working when we went to pick up the truck. When we returned he had a helper to check-in the truck, but Gary did the return. I know how this can be, trying to rent and return U-Haul while attending to primary business customers. In my experience the Uhaul system can be frustrating. Gary stayed calm during the whole process, despite common issues with the system. He kept apologizing and I kept saying I totally understand. It really brought back some memories for sure! I was rather dismayed that several years since I was in Gary's position, elsewhere, U-Haul Corporate has not improved upon common issues for Neighborhood Dealers. To my former, and Gary's current Area Field Manager Clay: I know you are reading this. Please give Gary a "pat on the back"! He deserves it! Thank-you again Gary!
The pick up was fine. The problem is that I planned on renting the truck the prior weekend. Because you couldn't get a truck to my original pick up location I had to cancel. The day before I picked up this truck you once again changed the pick up location. If I didn't need to get this move completed I would have cancelled again. I think giving you over a week to have the "reserved" equipment at the "original" pick up location should be able to be accomplished since it's your business. If you can't honor what is entered and confirmed on your website... say so!
It would be nice to know that the bigger trucks still have a narrow ramp. I got a 26' truck because I had a mower to move but still couldn't get it because the ramp was so narrow.
There was an old connector so they wanted to sell me a $14 adaptor
Parking and turn around area were incredibly small.
Ended up being well under what we estimated and truck worked wonderfully. Check in and check out were a breeze. Highly recommend.
It was a bumpy ride. The truck needs new shocks.
Make sure the break lights work, and that the people that work there know how to check out the equipment.
Uhaul has a very serious problem with the reservation/scheduling department. Not good customer service. Scheduled at wrong location and did not inform us as to where to pick up the truck & auto transport. Had to go 30 miles out of the way, twice. To pick up and them had to go to the correct location. Where our items/autos were stored the people were great. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Uhaul needs to teach this to the reservation/scheduling department.

My pick up was confirmed for another location, we had to drive to a different town to pick up the truck. The truck only had 1/4 gal of gas which wasn't enough to get us back to the original pick up town. The windshield and inside of the truck was dirty, the truck had dents on the side skirts and I had to ask for it to be document before driving off with the truck. The additional requested supplies were not in the truck. The attendant was slow and did not know how to work the computer it took over 40 minutes to pick up the truck not counting the commute time to a different town from the original pick up location which was changed the morning of pick up.
This was the best, easiest most reliable way to have an extra helping hand for moving.
When we arrived at the agreed upon drop off location we were redirected to a different drop off location and had to go out of our way (after we had filled up the gas tank). We were told that if we did not go to the alternate drop off location that we might be charged additional fees. When we got to the other location it was a busy convenience store. We had to wait in line and then the computer wouldn't cooperate. We waited and waited. Finally we were given a hand written receipt and left. A while later, I received a phone call saying that he was able to print a receipt and would have to go back there to pick it up if I needed it. I would appreciate it if you could email me a receipt.
I was so pleased with the attendant. Smile the in tire time. Very pleasant and helpful. I would not change a thing!
One person working u haul equipment while one runs register for store
Unprofessional. Didn't have any one to help hook up. Then when they showed up kept telling me I had the wrong size ball. My ball was a 2 inch which is universal. But he argued with me. I had to call another location to confirm that it would work.
This location needs to be shut down. Poorly operated..Very lacking in customer service and experience. They tried to give us a truck that had a check oil light on and was filthy. Their only solution was, if it breaks down, just call the number.
A smoker had rented previously. Ashtray full of butts and empty cig pack on the floor.
Having a service and quick stop station provide u haul services is probably not the best arrangement, but under those circumstances, this location did a good job, and it is convenient for many customers.
This is the second time I have dropped off a trailer and both times the staff were great.
The truck was schedule for had not been returned in and I had to wait at least 2 hours to get the truck. I the 800 Uhaul number twice and the man at the location called his Uhaul supervisor twice beefore the issue was corr
