pick up site located 16 miles from selected site for contract. At a cost of 99 cents per mile that cost me an extra $32 and over an hour of time wasted. Was not informed until day before rental that it was not available at selected site per contract. One way rentals no big deal on alternate pick up site but this doubled my mileage cost. Not happy and would have gone to Budget had I had time.

Staff at this location was friendly and efficient. Open cargo trailer had significant grass clippings on the exterior and interior. One fender was all beat up from prior incidents. Leaving extremely visible portions of Uhaul equipment in damaged condition causes one to question the adequacy of Uhaul's maintenance.

Requested trailer was not at this location - had to drive extra 10 miles to pick up trailer. This was not clear when rented online.

I had to drive approximately 20 miles out of Decatur to pick up the 6X12 trailer at Decatur Alternator. Place was filthy. Trailer had not been swept out. This is 2nd time I have rented out of Decatur and have had to travel to a secluded area to pick up equipment. I still have one more trip to make. If I cannot pickup equipment at UHAUL on 6th Avenue Decatur, AL, I will not consider renting from UHAUL.

Ensure vehicle cargo area is cleaned before pickup. Truck said oil change was needed on vehicle info center. I asked if it was okay to drive and was told it was okay. Not feeling comfortable about the oil situation, I checked the oil when I got the truck home and it was 2 quarts low. I purchased oil and filled it up. Also, when making a reservation I requested 2 sets of moving blankets. There were none in the truck and I was told they did not have any. No instructions were given on operation of the truck. The pickup place was a dump.

I did not like the customer service. Ronda was rude and hung up on me several times. She also stated I would get a call back within 5-10 minutes, but did not get a phone call just an email 8 hours later to a location 50 minutes away

The people here were very helpful and friendly, and even gave me guidance on what to do with loading and driving. Their computer had problems staying connected to the Uhaul website, and I think it needed to have some updates (Flash update or newer version of IE).

My U-haul experience was not very good i made a reservation in person at the U-Haul location in Decatur AL on 6th AVE on Wed 6-8 for a one way rental to Buckhead GA on a 5x8 trailer for pick-up on Fri 6-10 at 5pm. Your employee/agent did not offer a reservation number and I did not know to ask for one.(Big mistake) On 6-10 at 5pm I arrived to pick up the rental at the location where i had made the reservation but the employee/agent says there was no reservation under my name and as I had no reservation number I was SOL because there are no other trailers at the location. I have the option of driving @45 miles to huntsville AL on friday evening or driving to Hillsboro AL @ 20 miles on saturday morning for a trailer. On sat 6-11 at 6am I drive to Hillsboro AL @40 miles round trip and pickup a trailer. The only vehicle on his lot is the trailer. Your agent at Hillsboro AL says I can drop the trailer in Buckhead GA and if its after hours just put the contract in the lock-box I drive to Buckhead GA on Sat 6-11 @16 hours later than I intended to do so. I finished unloading at @8:30pm and call the 800 number on the contract. A recording says u-haul is closed to call back in the morning. I want to leave early on Sun 6-12 and so I take the rental to a u-Haul location in Buckhead GA and drop it on the site and put the contract in the lock-box. I call the 800 number again around 9:45pm and continue through the menue untill I find a real person in Customer Service. Your employee in CS is having a bad night and when I explained I had dropped the rental in Buckhead GA per instructions from your employee/agent in Hillsboro AL the employee in CS explains I have dropped the rental in the wrong place, its my fault and i am going to be charged as much as 3X my rental rate for inconvience cost. I questioned the validity of the contract she suggested i pay more attention to the language of the contract and the conversation went downhill from there. I went back to the u-haul location at @ 10:30pm to retreive the rental as it was my fault according to CS and I didn't have 3x my rental rate to waste, but the gates were closed and I was SOL again. I recalled CS at @11:30 and was connected to a very pleasent employee in Phonenix AR who was having a good night and who atleast listened to my problems and attempted to assit me in resolving them. At least she made me feel that way . Your employee suggested I call the location on Sun 6-11 from the road and see if they could help me. Added to this she made a note to the file explaining what had happened in detail. I left Buckhead at 5am on Sun 6-11 and called the u-haul location at 9am. They had the contract and had made contact with U-haul and all was resolved and i would not be charged additional fees. I certainly hope he knew what he was talking about. Based on my experience I've got a 50/50 chance of not being charged.

Gas tank was empty, never informed had to be full at drop off. Given the wrong piece of equipment and charged a different price. Had a reservation but was given a completely different product by Decatur Alternator. WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN
