I just think they charge me 6 miles more since I only drove 36 miles by google maps however, I did not look the mileage up front so, I could not complain. I saw scratches in the car that were not reported and I was more concentrate on that than looking at the mileage.

We rented a trailer to transport a couch that we were selling. The trailer had been used previously by someone that must have used it to haul pesticide or some very strong chemicals.The people at the uhaul place just said it was the "cleaner to clean out the trailer" which I highly doubt. As a result, the couch could not be sold and now we are trying to clean it and get the horrid smell out. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will be seeking a refund and recourse through whatever levels are necessary. I cannot imagine that your trucks could be used to haul and move items for people and have them pick up horrid fumes and smells. We returned the trailer to another location and the people at the second location agreed that there was a horrible smell. I am very unhappy and want a resolution.

Other than the employees talking about personal things and even some bad language (the F word) by an employee who was on the phone with someone, the wait wasn't long and the truck was ready when we arrived. I thought this was very unprofessional and not appropriate when working with customers.

Gas was not quite as high when I got in but close. Was at same spot when I dropped off but they charged for much lower. Reimbursed half which was nice. Told that 2.5 miles/gallon was reasonable. Had no idea that was even possible so refilled at about 6 miles to the gallon which seemed low to me. Should make it clear on pickup of vehicle that 2-4 miles per gallon is expected.

I had to park my car in the Baja Fresh parking lot. I was wearing heels and had to walk through mud to get to the UHaul store to pick up the truck I rented. Is there a way to create a walking path to the strip mall to enable easy accessibility?

Make sure that you have enough staff on the weekends when it tends to be really busy. One transaction takes a little while and if there are a few people in front of you, you'll be there for a little while.

Booked uhaul a day prior for 4 hours to get it on 01/30 at 12.00pm pickup. Reached uhual office by 11.55am. The store people provided me the prebooked uhaul at 12.30pm. Moreover, the person who gave the uhaul asked me to bring back the uhaul by 3.30pm as there is an order at 4pm. Who is going to pay for my 30 minutes lose. When i gave all the required details at the time of booking...why they collect the same details again n again??

Parking at this store is a bit of an issue but not impossible. The person taking my reservation over the phone was helpful but his manners/personality while making the reservation almost made me go to another rental agency. The people helping during pickup and drop treated me in a much more professional manner, maybe the guy taking my reservation was just having a bad day.

I rented a cargo van, I realize the length of time is for 4 hours but what I needed to do only took 1 1/2 hour of time. When I received the van the agent told me it was full tan of gas & that whatever gas I used I needed to refill what was used. I drove a total of 18 miles & the gas gauge dropped to 3/4 of a tank & gauge said I was getting 15.3 miles per gallon & it take 4 gallons to fill which meant if I was getting 15.3 miles per gallon I would have driven 61 miles-which I did not. This has happened to us before when renting from U-Haul. The gas tank is not really full when receiving the truck & paying for someone's else use. The agent did adjust the bill, but my point is that it seems "shady"-it has now happened to us before. How can I use more gas than what the per miles gauge says? I should have only had to put in at the most 2 gallons based on the miles per gallon driving 18 total miles. It is not fair for the consumer to be paying for additional gas

I was in line for 52 minutes to check out a reserved truck. during this 52 minutes, 3 people behind me left to go somewhere else. one guy became frustrated and took the bag of blankets without paying for them. This location has never been a dependable store. It seems to always have bad management. There were only 2 people working on Sat. for check in, turn in and packing supply's sales, including working the yard. I only use the cornell U-haul location if I can't find what I need at Ryder and I have lived in Hillsboro sense 1999. Its too bad as it is a handy location. I stopped using this location over 15 years ago when I stood in line for 40 mins. to return a steam cleaner. They charged me a late fee because I returned it 40 mins late even tho I was standing in the store the whole time. Nothing seems to have improved in 15 years. Such a shame. moving can be stressful enough.This is a U-haul location certain to make the moving experience far more stressful for people than it needs to be. I would recommend avoiding this location completely.

N/A to improve. Just a compliment to all the staff at this location. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. They know what they are doing and don't make the customer pay more than necessary. Even when busy, wait time to speak with a rep is minimal.
