Faced discrimination from the GM. Accused me of stealing a wallet and a car because my ID photo didn't look exactly like me (high school photo, I am mid twenties). Offered to prove it was my ID with every other item in my wallet matching my name, I was also already in their database from a rental a couple of years ago, and offered proof of my car insurance for the vehicle that was currently parked outside. GM stated that there was no way I could prove it unless I got a new ID. Called customer service, because I should have been able to prove it was my ID, and he stated he declined my reservation because I had a PO Box for my address, but NEVER mentioned that in the store (I have a card stating I need to keep my address confidential for legal protection and safety). Went back with a friend and the woman who helped us (Cassandra) was very sweet and helped us out in a timely manner.



I think improvements to the return process in general could help. In my case, somehow my trailer was returned (only from the computers point of view) 2 days prior to when it was physically returned (and on time). Because the computer thought that it was already checked in, there was a bit of a fuss with crediting my card, charging it again for the correct amount and some paperwork shuffling from the clerk (she was very polite). It just took quite a bit longer to check in than I was hoping for, but overall, we had a good experience.

Advertised as $19.95 and we used the truck for 1 hour and 14 miles, and took the $14.00 insurance and the end cost was just under $75.00.

I initially rented from Grand Rental Station. When I went to pick up my reserved vehicle, the location was closed! The person who gave me info about the business hours was misinformed and made life very difficult for me. Tyler at the Cornell location saved the day and worked his magic to get the situation sorted out. If you are going to have a call center take your calls, make reservations, or give business info, it might behoove you to give them proper information as to how your business operated. Not only was the hours of operation wrong. The pricing schedule they gave me was wrong and the payment method was wrongly relayed. I feel like the person giving me info knew nothing about that which they were speaking. Very frustrated customer, here!



your customer service was outstanding, these young men definitely take pride in their job. allowed me to clean out back of truck to avoid a $25 cleaning fee. I love seeing that people still take pride in what they do. No improvement needed, keep up the outstanding service. Thank you.

My Initial experience was negative due to the fact that the original location I was told I could pick it up was closed. In calling back I was redirected to an out of state phone number. I took a chance and drove to the final location in hollsboro and they had one dolly left. All worked out except the initial coordination on phone. I wasted about 2 hours. The uHaul in Hillsboro was fantastic!

Automatic check-in is cumbersome. Difficult to take self-photo and photo of license while holding other stuff. Perhaps better to have a kiosk with camera for proper lighting and a place to set things down.

this was an awful experience. A complete bate and switch. I made the apt a week in advance then when I tried to self-dispatch I was told it was reserved by someone else. I had to ride share to the nearest office. My moving crew left because this mistake took so long to resolve. Pulse my truck wasn’t filled up when I got in it. It was awful. They said I would get a credit but the when the receipt came in there was no credit applied.

The truck RPM went from 2K to 4K RPM and stuck there for a few minutes with engine revved up so loud. Very bad truck

I would say that the vehicle rented was excellent overall, low mileage, exterior clean, great performance, and better than expected fuel economy. The staff was excellent, although I did call them out to look at the interior and the rear area which had dried mud all over which had only a quick sweep to clean up than I would have liked, and I was just being sure I wouldn't be dinged if it returned in the same condition. The one thing which was a real concern was that the inside of the wind shield was so dirty that the visibility was almost unsafe in the dark with headlights shining in from oncoming traffic.

I noticed that my bank account was charged 2. I made prior arrangements to keep the truck for a total of 24 hours prior to my contract expiring. I was promised I would not be charged double. I made sure to drop the truck off before 8 am.... matter of fact, I dropped it off at 330 am just so I would be sure not to over sleep. I called the store yesterday and was told they would call me back. That never happened. During the move, my sons BRAND NEW car seat was kept in the "mothers den" area on the passenger side corner. It was completely soaked. There is a leak in that corner. I'm not happy that my car seat was damaged, billed twice, and wasn't able to use my 19.99 store credit, AND it has been 24 hours since I was told I would get a phone call to discuss the billing. Also, fill the trucks so customers don't have to guess when re-fueling. Much easier on your customers.
