Location itself was fine, but I booked a truck at the Monterey U-Haul location weeks in advance and was told the day before my reservation that I had to drive an hour (two hours roundtrip) out of my way to a different location. I understand that this sometimes happens but it feels like a ridiculous system considering the added price of gas (almost $100 to refill) and the additional logistics and time needed. Very disappointing for this to be how this reservation went, especially since I booked my truck weeks earlier. U-Haul should have an employee bring a truck to the reserved location rather than spring it on the customer at the last second, absolutely ridiculous.
