Change the way repeat customers are able to get checked in. The process has become very cumbersome. I rent about twice a month and it now takes about 20 minutes if I use the 24/7 check in. Going inside is not much better now that you changed your system. I understand that you are having a theft issue nationwide. But there has to be a way to speed up the rental process for repeating customers like me. Yesterday I was so frustrated with the 24/7 system I went inside to finish the process. Also 42/7 does not let me choose the make of vehicle I want. I always get a Ford van and making that choice is not an option. I don't like the GMC vans as they are to narrow for my needs.

The day I went to rent the entire U haul system crashed. The u haul staff were great and patient, even with an unruly person who wanted to place herself in front of line before everyone out. It was handled very well and professional. The staff at this location... AWESOME!

My problem was with the rental agent for not putting the notes we discussed on the reservation. When I got to the pick up they did not agree to the correct contract because the info was not in the notes. I had to call the 800 # and spend 50 min explaining it to 3 different depts so they could listen to the original call and finally honor the contract as it was initially agreed upon.

Everything worked out very well, the staff was helpful and friendly. The only inconvenient was that the truck used a lot of gas, but I am afraid that there is no easy solution for this.

With only one person behind the counter and a customer issue on the phone, I was waiting there for about 15 minutes before he was able to have someone else help me. I would recommend having at least another person there. I was the only in-store customer, but if there was a line it would've been a long wait for everyone.

Employ more people or have a sense of urgency when the line is really long. In general, there is a flaw in your 24/7 uhaul service. I booked a uhaul the night before for the Uhaul location at Wilcox in Hollywood. I booked it for 9am, but due to circumstances, I was not able to pick it up until 12. I tried accessing the site to pick up my truck and because I was picking it up 3 hours past my pick up time, customer service had to update my time for me. I feel that, from a product standpoint, if the truck has not been picked up yet, I should be able to pick it up after my start time because it's purely digital and there doesn't necessarily need to be a person around. Afterwards I had to call back again because the site still was not working. Then I found out that because there is no one at this location, I had to go 3 miles to the Hollywood Uhaul location. I disagree that I should have been able to reserve at the Wilcox location when there would be no way for me to receive a vehicle. I feel that the application should notify me that due to my request, I could not get a vehicle earlier to prevent all these problems. So then I arrived to the Hollywood uhaul location and there was a line that took 20 minutes for me to reach the front for them to assign me a vehicle which I then still had to use the site's application to get started rather than just having the employees help me expedite the process and change from application to dealing with people. Overall I did not have a good experience with Uhaul. There was one employee who did help get the truck ready and mop the back of it and I really appreciated that. He also helped to get the keys when I was ready for it, but other than that, I did not have a good experience.

Horrible service..... the 24/7 APP is a joke.... couldn't pick up my truck in the selected location, the APP didn't work and the truck was not available.... Even after all the email confirmations received. Had to go to another location far from my house!

The guy lied to my face. Said they didn’t have any vans. The lot was full of them. He let me leave, even though he was lying. What if I didn’t come back? What if I never use uhall again? What if there are others that share my experience? I basically ordered a van from that exact uhall while on my phone immediately after leaving. And they made further excuses as to why he told me they didn’t have the vans. I’m not an idiot. I just started a business redoing furniture. Used them on last two jobs. Never again.

The online experience was not helpful at all. I ended up using the counter because it was asking me new information and negated the entire purpose, and convenience, of using the online checkin. Unless that is corrected, I would not recommend that in the future.

There was a very long line and only one employee. I got there at 12:45PM for my 1pm reservation and didn’t drive off the lot until 1:20PM. Also, I did everything online and no email was sent to finish the reservation and give me a code so I could check in on my own and avoid the line.

Although equipment and truck was clean, I think your trucks need a little more maintance. It was scary driving the truck it kept jerking and when breaking it felt like it wanted to turn off. Also customer service was off. No one was pleasant, you can tell they were there to just get a pay check.
