Your vendors were incompetent. Originally charged $30 to my credit card then another $58 to my credit card and now you have the audacity to charge me another $57. You have been nothing but totally incompetence

No appliance dolly was available and all U-Haul locations were closed soo we could not get another one. We had to pick the appliances up and carry them at both locations prolonged Labor and time

Staff was very aggressive and hostile the location was not clean and had an smell of beer and incense the location is not in a safe part of town and the staff was not trained to handle the business of servicing there u haul customers in a timely or professional manner.
Make sure that the location I picked to drop the equipment off will take the equipment. When I went to the location I was informed that they didn't take that kind of equipment and that I needed to take it to another location
Have it so anyone working there can check the person in or out instead of waiting 30 mins for mgr to come check us out
Worst experience ever!
I am a repeat customer of U-Haul.On the contract for this truck, I agreed to a charge on my card for 40 miles at $1.09 / mile, or $43.60. My understanding was that if I used the truck for appreciably less than 40 miles, I would get credit for the difference. I used the truck for 27 miles for $29.43, which ought to have given me a $14.17 credit, which I did not receive.
The online process and instructions are not clear as to how the process works. The location location of the trucks/ equipment is not safe.
After having my reservation changed by Uhaul twice such that instead of picking up both items 5 minutes away, I had to go to one location 30 min away, then a second 15 min from there, drive 15 min back to the 1st location, then 40 min back, I arrived to find that Uhaul had cancelled my reservation for the tow dolly without telling me. The only person who could fix it wasn't there and the remaining employee (great guy) had to play a VERY long game of phone tag to get hold of him. I was told the first guy would be there in a few minutes. Over half an hour later he called and said he was on the way and would call back to redo my reservation in 5 min. About 20 min later he called back to do that. Then he had to FaceTime the other guy to walk him through attaching the dolly. All this made me several hours late getting back. Meanwhile my movers were harassing me over the phone because I told them to show up at 3pm but didn't get back until 6. On top of this, the guy said he was going to give me a $25 discount on the dolly...which somehow brought it to the same price I'd reserved it for online originally. My reservation for the truck & dolly were supposed to be ready at 11am, so all told I lost 7 hours. This is to say nothing of the fact that the movers didn't pack the truck fully, forcing me to make 2 trips. Driving with the dolly was the single most nightmarishly awful experience I have ever had in a motor vehicle. If I can help it I will never use one ever again.
The person (young man) working at the store was very nice. I understand he was new on the job. He was trying his best to rent my trailer to me and he asked that I come stand next to him in the store so that I could provide info to him. He got on the phone to someone, I am assuming the store owner, and he was telling the young man things and I was offering assistance to him as well. The owner then asked to speak with me and, in a very ugly tone told me to stop interfering and to let the guy do his job. I said nothing, handed the phone back to the young man and said "here, he is mad at me for helping." I did not need to be barked at like that - I was only helping out as I have rented many many trailers from Uhaul in the past and know the questions that are asked. Needless to say, I will NEVER rent from this location again. The young man was wonderful - he had no part in this ugliness so do not let the angry guy try to put this over on him. It was completely uncalled for and could have been handled in a much nicer way.
I was forced to pay for extra milage over the estimate; I drove from my place directly to the other location and brought back the truck. I did not appreciate that extra cost even if not that high
Low mileage truck ran great. It's hot in Texas this summer & the A/C made the 260 mile drive comfortable. I used mostly Uhaul boxes on this trip having exhausted my cache of office move boxes. Don't bother with office move boxes. Pony up the scratch for the Uhaul boxes. They simply pack into the truck better.
This place was closed, scary and gross.
