The brakes lights on the truck did not work. Parking lights worked, but the brake lights did not.

This U-Haul location was absolutely the worst, would never use them again. I drove U-Haul truck exactly 8 miles (less than 30 minutes) and they had the nerve to charge me $6.00 for gas. They read the gauge incorrectly before I took vehicle and made me pay for their mistake. I have used other U-Haul locations and never had a problem,. Totally horrible experience. They even tried to tell me that the vehicle was not clean due to 1 piece of grass in the truck, unbelievable.

Very convenient location.

The only issue I have with UHaul is that until the day before you have no idea of where you'll need to go to pick up the equipment. To be honest if I had found a company that had the equipment closer to my location I would have used them instead of U-Haul. For my next move I will be doing that.

Make sure you've practiced putting your hitch together before going to pick up your trailor.

Great experience, from reserving truck to pick-up and drop off. No problems, no surprises. First time using U-Haul at ANY location, and would definitely use this place if needed again.

Let me start off by saying, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The truck worked great. These are my only two complements about the experience. Everything else was aweful. I originally called the U-haul in Sycamore, Illinois which originally told me hey would let me know the day before the pickup if one of their trucks would be in stock before I picked it up. The call never happened. The location in Huntley called me and told me that they had trucks in stock (never knew this was Huntley calling me). It took me showing up at the location in sycamore to realize I had to drive an extra hour to get to Huntley to pick up the vehicle. Once I finally finish with the vehicle (now in Mahomet Illinois), I show up at my drop off location listed on the receipt to drop off the U-haul, and I'm told the location doesn't accept U-Hauls and has never delt with the company. I confirmed the address that I was at the correct place, and left the building to be on a 45 minute series of phone calls to finally have my drop off location moved, again after confirming my drop off location was correct with the customer service agent (who also was extremely nice). I get to the new drop off location and after speaking with the person working at the location, U-Haul was attempting to charge me another fee for going over mileage, saying I have gone over my initial 166 mile allowance. Not only was the original amount I was going to be allotted more than the 166 miles the system was saying I had (originally I was supposed to have 205), my receipt also listed I was to be allotted 230 miles, both of these I was well under. I.E., the system said I was only given 166 miles to use, but I was actually supposed to have 205, but was given 25 extra miles for changing my pickup location. The person at the location was understanding and took this charge off of my account. At this point, honestly, everything has been such a headache that I'm never using U-Haul ever again.

Well at first we were told to go to a different location, which wasn't the best. Chad's Towing and Recovery was an awful location to go to. They were rude and didn't help.

Never used the truck yet they charge me for miles. Had to cancel same day due to unforseen issue Returned key to drop box Never opened the door to the damn thing. Company is a lying, cheating, scammers. Stay away. Contacting credit card to cancel partial charge.

This weekend was a disaster, which I may end up paying for. I have already spoken to many people at UHaul and the answers from the higher ups may decide whether I ever use you again. I feel I got no customer service, was charged extra for a day that I didn't ask for. I have lodged a formal complaint.

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee and I do not know why?? Watch your charges after you return the truck.

I don't remember the girl's name but she is very helpful.

Great guy, easy trailor, no problems!

We had to use a smaller sized truck because the person before us was late. It wasn't a huge deal, as we were moving around 1.5 miles total, but it led to a second trip to get everything. The staff member offered to find us another uhaul option, but it didn't seem worth it since it would equal the same cost in miles added to pick it up from further away. Maybe offering some type of mileage help when you can't give the item agreed to would help. I will still use the uhaul place, but it was a little frustrating that the option to use the right sized truck would have cost a lot more and no offer was made to help cover that cost.

I'm very disappointed and angry. I wasn't going to complain when U-Haul first messed up my reservation by changing the pick up location and not telling me. But now I'm complaining because I returned my rental over night to this location and the next morning my credit card was charged for fuel. I filled the truck to what the gage was at when I picked up the truck. My paper work shows the truck had "one notch" above 3/8 full. The paperwork the rental facility that I dropped off the vehicle at shows it at the 3/8 notch on their paperwork, meaning they are claiming I dropped it off a "notch" below what it should have been at. My issue is that the truck gauge was between a 1/4 and 1/2 when I picked it up. The truck's fuel gauge in the vehicle doesn't actually have as many notches as the paperwork U-haul presents in their forms-- therefore, I really don't understand how when the needle on the gauge is in between 1/4 a tank and 1/2 a tank (just as it was when I picked it up) they can determine and say the fuel level is actually at 3/8 and not "one notch" above 3/8. Very unprofessional.
