When I make a reservation at this location, your reservation system tries to move me to another location every single time. The next nearest location is a 3-hour round trip away. That would mean 6 hours of driving just to pick up and drop off the truck. This happens every single time. So I need to watch for the text, call U-haul and explain to the person. All this just to have the reservation moved back to where I made it in the first place.
SCOTT BThis rating has nothing to do with the pickup location or the drop off location. It has to do with the Cathedral City location or corporate scheduling. I reserved my booking at Cathedral City, then 2 days before my scheduled pickup, I was informed I needed to change my pickup location to Idyllwild. To avoid this, I rescheduled my date, it was confirmed and then the day before, told I had to go to Idyllwild. Rescheduled again, confirmed, and once more they sent me to Idyllwild. Idyllwild is 1 1/2 hours away and an elevation of 6200 feet, whereas Cathedral City was 5 minutes away at sea level. They then messed up my return location. Fortunately, some helpful customer service people got this solved.
