The customer service was Excellent!! One suggestion: I like someone to check my rental in when I return it, to make sure everything is OK, vs. getting an email 20 minutes later after I leave. What if someone damages the rental in the 20 minute period after I leave? and before someone checks it in. I'm responsible, Not crazy about this option.
Truck was at 1/4 Tank filled upon pickup. I filled $10.00 gas prior to return and traveled 24 total miles. Was billed an additional $18 over and above my original $69 for 4 hours use of 15 feet vehicle. How???
I reserved a truck at one location. It was confirmed by text and I phoned the location to orally confirm. They said everything was set. Went to the location to pick up truck and they tell me my truck is at a different location. I told the rep that there is a truck in your parking lot that was the right size. She told me I reserved it at the other store which I didn't. Not happy that I had to run around chasing the truck from one store to another. Very unprofessional.
U-Haul employee that worked in the morning was not friendly or sociable regarding the reservation. Said the bare minimum if that even. I ordered two mattress covers, and rented an appliance dolly. He forgot to give me the mattress covers and then I had to go back again a few hours later to get them. After pulling the truck around for me he went to get the appliance dolly and handed it to me to put in the back of the truck myself (think he should have done that from a customer service standpoint). He walked back inside and that was the last I saw of him. It was not busy inside at this time. If he had put the dolly in the back of the truck himself he would have realized that the dolly holder bracket was not functional (wing nut missing). The dolly was not secure because of this. He also did not go over or inspect the truck with me for any previous damage. Fortunately there was no previous damage. Will not be coming back to this U-Haul location for any future business.
Everything was great. Pickup, equipment and drop off were flawless.
customer service was extremely slow making people wait an hour-an hour and a half after their reservation time and giving customers attitude. as well as confirming our reservation just to turn around and tell us only the smallest truck was available. very unprofessional
The self check in for the truck didn't work so I showed up to pick up my truck at the same time the location opened. I ended up waiting in line with about 7 other groups and lost a half hour off my rental. Also, I signed up to pick up my rental at eight and the email I got said eight. However, when I went to pick it up at eight, it had changed to nine because that's when they open without telling me anything that it had changed
Too few people working on the First. I had a 9:30 reservation. The online process did not work. So I had to go in. The line was so long. And only 1 person behind the counter when I got there. Another came later. I finally got my rental at 11 am.
Truck was in need of a serious alignment, steering wheel crossmember lined up at 2 and 7 to go straight, if you didn't keep constant left pressure on the steering wheel on the vehicle turned sharply to the right.
More staff on weekends & end of month, they were slammed!
Don't charge people for things they did not use or buy!!
The store manager/ owner was extremely helpful. My reservation was cancelled by the company and he was still able to get me a truck. He went above and beyond. When he arrived, there were 20 people waiting and he handled it with ease. He was polite and pleasant with everyone inside.
Employees at this location were more than happy to discuss problems with the rental. The inside of the rental didn't seem like it had been swept or cleaned by previous users, which I took time to do to leave the rental in a better state than I found it. I was anxious about being charged for the dirt and grime in the rental, however the employee who handle my equipment return was more than happy to discuss this and I was not charged.
Keep up the good work
The inside of the truck smelled like cigarette smoke. The guy that drove the truck to the front of the building for us did not wear a mask it was around his ear also did not wear gloves so we had to sanitize before we got into the truck. When we returned the truck the employee was not wearing a mask so we had to keep our distance. Not very happy with this experience.
Have the right size truck. Better procedure when you bring back the uhaul
Need more staff to deal with volume of vehicles. They seemed to only have 2 staff members working who appeared to be very stretched. However, staff remained polite and courteous.
Was charged a fee for damage that was identified and noted prior to check-out. The damage history was not presented or known to service crew.
Management was very polite and professional. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
Both the manager and employee were amazing. They worked as a team to get customers in and out. The manager handled a customer over the phone who had a complaint with ease; his voice never rose. He maintained a calm voice and demeanor; offered a solution to take care of their issue. That is why I like this location.
truck was old and beat up which is not really a problem but it drove all over the road, steering very very loose...inexperienced driver with load may have problems on highway.
Molly was very helpful and we had a good experience overall
While the staff were knowledgeable very helpful and curious, the wait time was long. I'm guessing they're short staffed at this time.
